Frequently asked questions
What are the pricing options for private events at Lucky Voice Holborn?
Lucky Voice Holborn offers both semi-exclusive and full venue hire options. Semi-exclusive hire includes 2 hours private karaoke at £32-36 per person, drinks minimum spend of £30-40 per person (3-6 drinks), and food options from £30 per person. Full venue hire starts at £3,200-11,000 depending on date and group size, plus drinks minimum spend of £30-60 per person and food costs. A 12.5% discretionary service charge is added to all bills.
What is the maximum capacity for events and how are groups accommodated?
The venue can accommodate up to 150 people for events. Groups are split across multiple private karaoke rooms (10 rooms total, each holding up to 30 people), with access to the main bar area. You can rotate between rooms at any time during your karaoke session, but must stay within each room's maximum capacity.
What food and drink packages are available for events?
Food options include Finger Food Selection (7 pieces) for £29-30 per person, Bowl Food Selection (5-6 pieces) for £39-45 per person, and Pizza Selection averaging £14.50 each. Drinks packages range from £20-60 per person minimum spend (equivalent to 3-6 drinks each). All prices include VAT with a 12.5% service charge added to the final bill.
What are the typical event timings and how long can events run?
Events typically run from 6pm-12am for evening parties, with some flexibility on start times from 5:30pm. The venue can accommodate events until midnight, with the venue reopening to the public afterward. Setup time is usually included 30-60 minutes before guest arrival for final venue checks.
How does the booking process work and what are the deadlines?
Lucky Voice operates on a live booking system where availability changes in real-time. You must respond to enquiries by 9am the following day or the enquiry will be closed. The sooner you respond, the easier it is to confirm your preferred date and time, as popular dates book up quickly.
What entertainment and additional services are available?
The venue features over 12,000 contemporary and classic karaoke songs accessible through in-room consoles with the iconic 'Thirsty' button for room service. Additional services include DJ hire from £250, photo booth rental at £400 for unlimited use, and event hosts from £150 each. The main bar area has a dance floor and live DJ capabilities.
What is included in the venue hire and what are the mandatory costs?
Semi-exclusive hire includes reserved bar area before and after karaoke, 2 hours private karaoke access, and use of multiple rooms. Full venue hire includes unlimited karaoke access and exclusive use of the entire venue. All bookings require minimum spend commitments for drinks and have mandatory 12.5% service charges on all food and beverage purchases.
Are there different pricing tiers based on dates and what affects the cost?
Yes, karaoke pricing varies by date: £32 per person on December 18th, £34 per person on December 6th, and £36 per person on December 4th and 11th. Full venue hire also varies significantly by date, ranging from £3,200 for weekday hire to £11,000 for premium dates. December dates command higher prices due to Christmas party season demand.
What are the age restrictions and guest requirements?
All guests must be over 18 years old for evening events. The venue asks whether you're looking for karaoke, food, drinks, or all three when making enquiries. Groups must confirm final numbers, preferred dates, times, budget, and whether they want exclusive hire when requesting quotes.
What happens if I don't respond to my enquiry in time?
If you don't respond to enquiries by 9am the following day, Lucky Voice will automatically close your enquiry. They may send follow-up emails asking if you're still interested, but after several attempts without response, the enquiry is permanently cancelled. You can reopen enquiries by contacting them directly if this happens by mistake.
