The Marcus Back Library is a wooden panelled room with impressive oak parquet flooring, red leather chairs and a marble fire place. Its unique historic heritage and large library of medical books lining the walls, makes it a great spot for filmed interviews and videography. This room can host up to 30 people in a impressive horse-shoe style formation and features high quality air conditioning. The temperature in the room is maintained at 20C degrees to protect the rare books stored in the various glass cabinets.

The Marcus Beck Library is available for £900 per day (09:00-17:00) plus VAT. This wooden panelled room with oak parquet flooring and red leather chairs provides an impressive historic setting for filmed interviews and videography.

The Marcus Beck Library accommodates a maximum of 30 people in a fixed U-shape layout. The room features red leather chairs arranged in an impressive horseshoe formation, which cannot be reconfigured due to the historic nature of the space.

The room is temperature controlled at exactly 20°C to preserve the antique medical books stored in glass cabinets throughout the space. This temperature cannot be altered under any circumstances, which may affect comfort levels during extended filming sessions.

An LCD screen is included in the room hire. Additional equipment available for hire includes: laptop (£150), video conference kit (included), and flipchart with pens (£40). All prices are subject to VAT.

There is a minimum chargeable number of 15 people that applies to all bookings. Even if your actual attendance is lower, you will be charged for 15 people for any catering services ordered.

Catering is charged per person, per serving and includes: tea/coffee with traditional biscuits (£4.30), tea/coffee with biscuits and fresh fruit (£5.00), fresh fruit platter (£4.50), tea/coffee with Danish pastries and fruit salad (£6.00), and working lunch (£26.25). All prices are subject to VAT.

The venue operates from 09:00-17:00 for standard bookings. Evening events are available from 6:30pm-10pm, with service ending at 10pm to allow guests to depart. The venue is closed on certain dates throughout the year.

All quotes are valid for 5 days only. The venue does not automatically hold space when providing quotes - you must specifically request a temporary hold if you need time to make a decision.

No external food or drink is allowed into the venue under any circumstances. All catering must be provided by the venue's in-house kitchen and catering team.
