The Music Room is one of the most stunning and original rooms and in our building for your wedding ceremony or reception.

The Music Room is an equally generous space to it's neighbour (Council Room), the room is finished with more of a delicate palette, with intricate white wall panelling and painted window blinds surrounded by a number of natural mirrors.

Frequently asked questions

Wedding venue hire runs from 2pm until midnight with supplier access from 12pm. Weekday hire starts from £4,825 VAT exempt, while weekend hire starts from £7,175 VAT exempt. There's a winter discount of £1,000 off venue hire for weddings taking place in October or November 2025.

10 Carlton House Terrace includes a private lobby, Council Room, Barnard Room, and Radhakrishnan Room. 11 Carlton House Terrace includes a private lobby, Gallery, Music Room, and Beatrice Webb Room. The maximum seated capacity for ceremony and dinner is 100 guests in the Beatrice Webb Room at No. 11.

The venue has a detailed list of Approved Suppliers for Audio Visual, Production, and Floristry, plus Recommended suppliers. Use of third-party suppliers outside this approved list must be agreed in writing by the venue. Searcys is the exclusive catering partner.

Searcys is the exclusive catering partner who designs bespoke menus for weddings. They can offer halal or South Asian inspired catering, though they note they are not specialized in South Asian catering. All menus are custom-designed to work with your preferences.

The Music Room alone is not suitable for dinner and drinks for 50 guests - you would need to book an additional room. The Beatrice Webb Room at No. 11 has a maximum seated capacity of 100 guests for ceremony and dinner. Specific room capacities vary depending on the setup required.

To process your booking, contact details are required initially, with more details requested if proceeding. A signed hire agreement is needed, followed by a 50% deposit invoice. You must wait to receive the invoice before making payment as you'll need to quote the invoice number.

The Music Room can be used for wedding ceremonies, and staff will confirm whether you're planning a ceremony in this space and if you want the drinks reception in the same room or a different one. The venue comprises two former private houses with different room options depending on your guest numbers.

Wedding venue hire runs from 2pm until midnight as standard. Suppliers get access for setup from 12pm. Access for the organizer can be arranged from earlier times, with some flexibility mentioned for setup requirements before the standard access time.
