Day hire (08:30-17:00) costs £6,100+VAT with a £5,000+VAT minimum catering spend. Evening hire (17:30-23:00) is £5,100+VAT with the same £5,000+VAT minimum catering spend. An overnight hold between day and evening hire costs £950+VAT.

What capacity and seating arrangements are available in Frobisher Auditorium 2?

The auditorium accommodates up to 280 people in raked theatre-style seating with retractable writing tablets. The raked seating design ensures excellent sight lines for all attendees. For groups under 80, the adjacent Frobisher conference suites may be more suitable alternatives.

What AV equipment and technical support is included with the hire?

The space includes a 34,000lms 4K DLP cinema projector with 1920x1080 resolution, built-in screen, PA system, 3 cabled microphones, Wi-Fi, and full use of the house lighting system. A dedicated technician for sound and lighting is included with the hire for technical support throughout your event.

What are the standard hire times and can I extend access for setup?

Standard day hire runs 08:30-17:00 and evening hire 17:30-23:00, with tenancy times including setup and de-rig. The venue recommends allowing 1.5 hours for setup and 30 minutes for de-rig. Additional hours outside standard times can be arranged by speaking to your sales contact.

What payment and contract requirements must be completed before my event?

An invoice must be paid prior to the event going ahead, and a signed contract is required. The finance team processes payments once invoices are submitted, and contracts must be signed and returned to confirm the booking.

Yes, the venue has Cinema 1 and Auditorium 1, both with 220-person capacity. However, these spaces can book up quickly, so flexibility with dates is recommended if your preferred date is unavailable.

Frobisher Auditorium 2 is located on the Frobisher floor with access to stunning catering areas and a private foyer area. The space is adjacent to 6 individual Frobisher rooms and a dedicated boardroom, providing additional breakout or catering space if needed.

Can the venue accommodate large conference groups and what booking restrictions apply?

The venue can accommodate large conference groups, but availability may be limited during peak periods. For example, large conference groups booking multiple days (such as 8th-10th September periods) can result in no availability across those dates, so early booking and date flexibility are recommended.
