The area around Brindleyplace was first developed in the early 19th century as a result of the growth of the Birmingham canal network.

HISTORY

As well as restaurants and bars, there are also several large venues nearby, perfect for a range of different events.

VENUE VARIETY

Brindleyplace is a mixed-use development consisting of offices, residential apartments, retail outlets, bars and restaurants located in Birmingham. The area was originally developed on derelict land next to canalside warehouses dating back to the Industrial Revolution. 

The development of Brindleyplace has rescued much of Birmingham's canalside from dereliction and has created a new focus for regeneration in the city centre. The area is now bustling with activity day and night, attracting workers, residents and visitors alike.

Medicine Gallery is housed in the Victorian, 2200 sq ft purpose built former gallery of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists. A building of great beauty and of local art historical importance, the medicine team discovered the forgotten space and restored it to its former glory in 2018. Medicine opened as a cafe and gallery supporting arts and cultural organisations to advance their creative mission by housing their exhibitions and events. 

The space is perfect for networking and corporate events, celebrations, film screenings and concerts. Catering is available from £15 - £30 per person.
