The Skills/Board room is a multifunctional room that is ideal for board meetings for groups up to 10 people, seated around a large table. There is also extended seating and table space fixed to the wall along the length of the entire room. The room is a dedicated area for development and growth for community groups, training providers and businesses to host their meetings and/or training days. The room is designed to support the ease of meetings with access to an interactive conference room facility.

The hobby room is perfect for painting and designing. The natural lighting in the room ensures that every finer detail is captured. There is a flip chart available for demonstrations and the room is served with a built in kitchenette for access to water if needed.

A tranquil, calming space where the magic happens whether that be in the realm of beauty or holistic treatments. The spa room consists of Hairdressing essentials, large mirrors, swivel chairs and sinks. We also have an adjoining therapy room with adequate space to set up a massage table/reflexology chairs and is also suitable for 1-1 movement sessions if necessary.

Appleby Blue Almshouse has a number of spaces to hire. Our Garden room is a brightly lit space that can facilitate elaborate and intimate events. Off the garden room is a modern communal kitchen fully kitted with all your culinary needs. The courtyard area provides a spill out area if required. Conferences, award ceremonies, exercise, dance and food banquets are among the many ways in which this space is used. Our skills and hobby rooms can also be hired out for workshops, art and other interactive workshops. There is also a spa room and adjoining therapy room available to hire.
