The present arrangement of the Georgian Room dates back to 1837 and is, intriguingly, almost certainly the space where the Prince of Wales (later George II) came in 1717 following a massive row with his father, George I. It is a unique space which is perfect for buffets and receptions. It also has great views over the Atrium and down the Lecturers' Corridor. All prices listed are exclusive of VAT.
The Library overlooks Albemarle Street and contains a fascinating collection of scientific books - it is one of our most popular spaces at the RIGB. The room has an abundance of character from the books to the mirror over the fireplace which has hung there since 1804. It is ideal for board meetings, training sessions, presentations, receptions, buffet lunches and formal dinners. All prices listed are exclusive of VAT.
The stunning glass atrium space provides a thoroughly modern alternative for a drinks reception. At its centre is a glass lift with the space opening out to the upper levels, flooding it with natural daylight to give the sense of being outside, yet sheltered from the British weather. All prices listed are exclusive of VAT.
This spacious, beautifully refurbished theatre is perfect for a variety of business-related gatherings, including large meetings, conferences, workshops, training sessions, and board meetings. The theatre has been completely renovated; the rare Japanese wallpaper was saved and restored to its former glory. The seating, flooring, air conditioning, and lighting are all brand new. Up-to-date AV equipment has been installed, and an audio-visual tech is available upon request. The large desk can be moved to give greater flexibility and room to spread out materials or displays.
