The Library

Located on the First Floor, the Library offers a versatile and distinctive space, filled with natural light and lined with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, set within a heritage setting complemented by portraits and classical busts. The room is well suited to smaller meetings of up to 90 guests and is equipped with built-in AV, including a screen, projector, microphones, and PA system. It is also ideal for conferences, presentations, panel discussions, talks, board meetings, and training sessions.
The Demonstration Room

The Demonstration Room is the Royal Institution’s most contemporary space, offering a versatile and highly functional setting for a range of events. Bright and welcoming, it is ideally suited for small conferences, boardroom meetings, and away days. The Conversation Room and Mezzanine

The Conversation Room and Mezzanine offer a unique space that blends a modern feel with the charm of a traditional library setting. Located on the Ground Floor, the rooms are lined with bookshelves and provide an ideal environment for corporate meetings, presentations, workshops, and away days. Our First Floor spaces connect seamlessly to create a flexible and versatile setting, ideal for conferences, awards ceremonies, meetings, away days, and corporate events. Guests are welcomed via the original marble Grand Entrance staircase, leading to the iconic Lecture Theatre or to the Library, Georgian, and Writing Rooms. These spaces can be opened up to form one large, interconnected catering area or used individually as breakout rooms. The Demonstration Room is also included, offering an ideal space for breakout sessions or as a green room for speakers.
