'The Engine Room' is the heart of our community and our main event space. This versatile room can accommodate cabaret, theatre, or boardroom style seating for up to 120 guests, and the fixed stage always provides an excellent focal point. The unusual space has been used for everything from hackathons and seminars, to conferences and product launches. Available to dry hire, or let us take the stress of organising an event off you and ordering your catering through Runway East!
Howard Hughes
The names of some of our rooms may sound familiar to you. They are all named after pioneers of the aviation industry. Our Meeting room 'Howard Hughes' can seat up to 15, and the glass walls give a feeling of space and light. This unusual meeting room is located in the centre of our workspace, and is perfect for meetings and small workshops. Whatever your catering needs, we can make sure your meeting has everything you require - from a simple tea and coffee service, to breakfast and lunch options. We are also happy for you to use external caterers.

Buzz is one of the bigger meeting rooms we have here at Runway East, and can comfortably fit 8 people. It's towards the back of the space giving a feeling of privacy. Whether you're planning a small workshop session with your team or you're just looking for an affordable meeting room in East London, the Buzz Aldrin room is the perfect space to brainstorm and collaborate. At Runway East we have our own in house catering team who can provide you with everything from tea and coffee service, to a healthy breakfast or a nutritious lunch. This room is also available for dry hire.
