What is the minimum number of guests required for dining bookings?

All dining bookings require a minimum of 50 people. For meeting spaces, the minimum is 30 people, but banqueting specifically requires 50 guests minimum.

What are the pricing options for dining events?

Day Delegate Rate starts from £53 per person for groups of 30+. All-inclusive dining packages are available at £76 per person including VAT, which covers room hire, glass of bubbly on arrival, 3-course seated meal, tea and coffee, staffing and security.

Can I bring my own caterer for dining events?

External catering is not normally allowed on site. The venue works with contracted preferred caterers who handle both room hire and catering as part of their package, and you must use one of these approved partners.

What dining spaces are available and what are their capacities?

The Diomed suite can accommodate up to 500 people in theatre style or 224 people in cabaret style. The Oaks Hall can accommodate around 50 people for dining, and single boxes in the Duchess's Stand are perfect for intimate dining events with exceptional racecourse views.

Are there additional costs beyond the basic dining package?

Yes, wine can be added at £18.75 per person for half a bottle, or you can upgrade to high-end wine bottles. Menu upgrades for main courses incur additional costs depending on your selections, and there may be room hire fees for certain spaces.

What kitchen facilities are available for large dining events?

Kitchen facilities in the largest halls cannot service seated capacity for very large numbers (500+ seated guests). The venue's kitchen capacity has limitations for high-volume seated dining events.

What is included in the all-inclusive dining package?

The £76 per person package includes room hire, glass of bubbly on arrival, 3-course seated meal, tea and coffee, staffing and security, and complimentary car parking. Additional services like DJ and dance floor cost £400 excluding VAT.

How do I book dining space with preferred caterers?

You must first choose from the venue's contracted caterer partners, then organize the show round and obtain quotes directly from your chosen caterer. The caterers will quote for both room hire and catering as part of their package.
