The Diomed Suite is the largest of three inter-joining suites on the first floor. It boasts spectacular views over London and the Downs. It is an ideal space for a Banquet, Birthday Dinner, Christmas Dinner, Dinner Party or Ball. The Diomed is the perfect Dining Room and is suited for any Dining Event - Corporate or Private. The price listed is inclusive of VAT. Please see the House Rules for details on the Delegate package.



Frequently asked questions

All dining bookings require a minimum of 50 people. Meeting spaces have a separate minimum of 30 people, but banqueting specifically requires 50 guests minimum to proceed with a booking.

Day Delegate Rate packages start from £53 per person plus VAT. All-inclusive dining packages are available at £76 per person including VAT, which covers room hire, glass of bubbly on arrival, 3-course seated meal, tea and coffee, staffing and security. Wine can be added at £18.75 per person for half a bottle.

External catering is not normally allowed on site. The venue works with contracted preferred caterers who handle both room hire and catering as part of their package. You must use one of their approved catering partners rather than sourcing your own catering independently.

The Diomed Suite can accommodate up to 500 people in theatre style layout. For dining events, the space is configured as a banquet room with spectacular views over London and the Downs, making it ideal for corporate or private dining events.

Yes, there are additional room hire fees depending on the space used. The Mezzanine area has a room hire fee of £1,000 plus VAT. Some dining packages are all-inclusive, but additional spaces or specific room configurations may incur separate hire charges.

Kitchen facilities in the largest halls cannot service seated capacity events for very large numbers (over 500 seated guests). The venue's kitchen capabilities are designed to support their standard dining packages but have limitations for extremely large seated dining events.

The National Sales Manager works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Initial enquiries are handled by the events team, and full proposals with costs are provided after confirming specific requirements.
