The Diomed Suite is the largest of three inter-joining suites on the first floor. It boasts spectacular views over London and the Downs. It is an ideal space for a Conference, Presentation, Workshop, Team Building, Training or Networking event. The Diomed is the perfect suite for your Corporate Event. The price listed is inclusive of VAT. Please see the House Rules for details on the Delegate Package.



Frequently asked questions

All meeting spaces at Epsom Downs Racecourse require a minimum of 30 people for bookings. This applies to both conference bookings and banqueting events.

Day Delegate Rate packages start from £53 per person plus VAT. The Classic DDR Package at £53+VAT includes main suite hire, arrival tea/coffee with pastries and fruit, mid-morning refreshments, finger buffet lunch, afternoon tea/coffee, water jugs, projector and screen, flipchart and pens, Wi-Fi, car parking, and dedicated event manager.

The venue does not operate on a pure dry hire basis and external catering is not normally allowed on site. However, they work with contracted preferred caterers who can provide catering services as an alternative to in-house catering, and you must use one of these approved partners.

The Diomed Suite can accommodate up to 500 people in theatre style layout and up to 224 people in cabaret style seating. For very large events requiring 700+ guests with 500 seated, the venue's kitchen facilities cannot service these numbers in seated capacity.

Yes, there are additional room hire fees depending on the space. The mezzanine area has a room hire fee of £1,000 plus VAT, and breakout rooms have separate hire charges ranging from £300-£1,800 plus VAT depending on size and capacity.

The DDR package includes a projector, screen, and built-in PA system at no extra charge. Additional AV equipment costs extra: lectern and microphone £90 plus VAT, standalone microphone £70 plus VAT, and medium stage £350 plus VAT.

Banqueting bookings require a minimum of 50 people. The all-inclusive dining package is £76 per person including VAT, which covers room hire, arrival drink, three-course seated meal, tea and coffee, staffing and security. Half a bottle of wine per person can be added for £18.75 per person.

The National Sales Manager works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday only. This may affect response times and availability for site visits or booking discussions on Wednesdays.

Available breakout spaces include the Downs View Suite (60 people cabaret, £1,800 hire fee), Gallops (48 people cabaret, £1,400 hire fee), and Double Box (24 people cabaret, £600 hire fee). Discounted rates may be available when booking multiple spaces.

Setup can begin from 7am on event day, with events typically running 9am-5pm for conferences. For evening events, breakdown can extend until 1am the following day. The venue allows setup the evening before for larger events requiring additional preparation time.
