Mandatory staffing includes stewarding at £18.50 plus VAT per person per hour (6-hour minimum), event support at £18.50 plus VAT per person per hour (6-hour minimum), and first aid at £185 plus VAT per day (8-hour minimum). Additional staff like cloakroom attendants and security may be required depending on your event size and requirements.
What additional mandatory costs apply to all bookings?
All events require a cleaning contribution of £425 plus VAT. You must also provide public liability insurance with minimum £5 million cover, and all staffing costs are subject to annual increases from April 1st each year.
Are there premium rates for holiday bookings?
Yes, all staffing is charged at double time on Bank and Public Holidays including New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day. Plan accordingly if your dining event falls on these dates.
