What is the minimum number of guests required for dining bookings?

All dining bookings require a minimum of 50 people. For meeting spaces, the minimum is 30 people, but banqueting specifically requires 50 guests minimum.

What are the pricing options for dining events?

Day Delegate Rate starts from £53 per person for groups of 30+. All-inclusive dining packages are available at £76 per person including VAT, which covers room hire, glass of bubbly on arrival, 3-course seated meal, tea and coffee, staffing and security.

Can I bring my own caterer for dining events?

External catering is not normally allowed on site. The venue works with contracted preferred caterers who handle both room hire and catering as part of their package, and you must use one of these approved partners.

What dining spaces are available and what are their capacities?

The Diomed suite can accommodate up to 500 people in theatre style or 224 in cabaret style. The Oaks Hall can accommodate around 50 people for dining, and single boxes in the Queen's Stand are perfect for intimate dinners with exceptional racecourse views.

Are there additional costs for wine and beverages?

Wine can be added at £18.75 per person for half a bottle per person, or you can upgrade to high-end wine bottles at additional cost. The basic dining package includes tea, coffee, and a glass of bubbly on arrival.

What are the venue hire fees for dining spaces?

The Mezzanine area has a room hire fee of £1,000 excluding VAT. Larger dining spaces may have different hire fees depending on the specific suite and requirements.

What kitchen facilities are available for large dining events?

Kitchen facilities in the largest halls cannot service seated capacity for very large numbers (over 500 seated guests). The venue's kitchen capabilities are designed to support their standard dining packages and approved caterers.

Can dining spaces be used for both daytime conferences and evening dining?

Yes, spaces can be flipped between different setups. For example, the main room can be used for cabaret-style conferences during the day and then converted for evening dining with tables of 10 people.

What entertainment options are available for dining events?

DJ and dance floor services are available at £400 excluding VAT. The venue can accommodate live bands and entertainment, with spaces that can be configured to include staging areas.

What is included in the all-inclusive dining package?

The £76 per person package includes exclusive party suite, non-alcoholic arrival drink, three-course menu, staffing and security, and complimentary car parking. Additional services like upgraded main courses are available at extra cost.
