The Oaks Hall is a purpose-built events hall fitted with all the latest, state of the art facilities. It is the largest events space at Epsom Downs. The Oaks hall is perfect for a large reception or seated event. It is an ideal space for a large Banquet, Birthday Dinner, Christmas Dinner, Dinner Party or Ball. The Oaks Hall is the perfect Dining Hall and is suited for any large scale Dining Event - Corporate Event or Private. The price listed is inclusive of VAT. Frequently asked questions

All dining bookings require a minimum of 50 people. Meeting spaces have a minimum of 30 people, but banqueting specifically requires 50 guests minimum to proceed with a booking.

Day Delegate Rate packages start from £53 per person plus VAT. The Classic DDR Package at £53+VAT includes main suite hire, arrival tea and coffee with pastries, mid-morning refreshments, finger buffet lunch, afternoon tea and coffee, water, projector and screen, flipchart, WiFi, car parking, and dedicated event manager.

External catering is not normally permitted on site. The venue works with contracted preferred caterers only - you must use one of their approved catering partners rather than sourcing your own catering independently.

The Diomed suite can accommodate up to 500 people in theatre style or 224 people in cabaret style for dining. The Oaks Hall can accommodate up to 50 people and is described as the largest events space at Epsom Downs, perfect for large banquets and seated dining events.

Room hire fees vary by space - the Mezzanine area costs £1,000 plus VAT, while other spaces like the Downs View suite cost £1,800 (often discounted to £1,000), and smaller spaces like the Double Box cost £600 (often discounted to £300). Some packages include room hire in the overall per-person rate.

The All Inclusive Dining Package costs £76 per person including VAT and includes room hire, glass of bubbly on arrival, 3-course seated meal, tea and coffee, staffing and security. You can add half a bottle of wine per person for an additional £18.75 per person.

Kitchen facilities in the largest halls cannot service events with 700 guests allowing 500 to be seated. The venue has specific limitations on the scale of catering they can provide for very large seated dining events.

Additional services include DJ and dance floor at £400 plus VAT, various AV equipment (lectern and mic £90, standalone mic £70, medium stage £350), and the option to upgrade main course menu items for additional costs. All prices exclude VAT unless specifically stated as inclusive.

The Blue Ribband suite and Diomed/Lammtarra suite both feature private terraces overlooking the racecourse. These bright, open spaces are suitable for reception drinks and can accommodate dining events with outdoor elements.

Events can run from early morning setup (7am mentioned for conferences) through to late evening. The venue can accommodate various timing requirements, though specific restrictions on noise levels or late-night operations are not detailed in the available information.
