The Royal Box is an exclusive room within the Queen's Stand. Steeped in heritage, it is the ideal location to impress your guests with its grandeur. A private balcony looks over the finish line and it is the perfect space to give your event a different twist.

It is an ideal space for a Meeting, Presentation, Workshop, Team Building or Training event. The Royal Box is the perfect space for smaller scale intimate corporate events.

Frequently asked questions

All meeting spaces require a minimum of 30 people to book. This applies to all conference and meeting room bookings at the venue.

Banqueting bookings require a minimum of 50 people. This is separate from the meeting space minimum and applies specifically to dining events.

Day Delegate Rate packages start from £53 per person plus VAT. The Classic DDR Package at £53+VAT includes main suite hire, arrival tea/coffee with pastries and fruit, mid-morning refreshments, finger buffet lunch, afternoon tea/coffee, water, projector/screen, flipchart, Wi-Fi, parking, and dedicated event manager.

The venue does not operate on a pure dry hire basis and external catering is not normally allowed on site. You must use one of their contracted preferred caterers who will quote for both room hire and catering as part of their package.

The Diomed suite can accommodate up to 500 people in theatre style or 224 people in cabaret style. For very large events requiring 700+ guests with 500 seated, the venue's kitchen facilities cannot service these numbers in seated capacity.

Breakout spaces include the Downs View Suite (60 people cabaret), Gallops (48 people cabaret), and Double Box (24 people cabaret). Room hire costs range from £300-£1,800 but are often discounted when booked with main spaces.

Basic AV includes projector, screen, flipchart, pens, and built-in PA system at no extra charge. Additional equipment costs: lectern and microphone £90, standalone microphone £70, medium stage £350 (all excluding VAT).

All-inclusive dinner packages start at £76 per person including VAT, covering room hire, arrival drink, 3-course meal, tea/coffee, staffing and security. Half bottle of wine per person costs an additional £18.75, with options for premium wine upgrades.

Events can typically run from early morning (7am setup) until late evening. The venue offers complimentary car parking and Wi-Fi, with dedicated event managers assigned to bookings.

DJ and dance floor services are available for £400 plus VAT. The venue can accommodate live bands and entertainment, with spaces that include private terraces overlooking the racecourse for unique event experiences.
