Frequently asked questions

All wedding bookings require a minimum of 50 people for banqueting events. If your guest count is below 50, the venue cannot accommodate your wedding reception.

The venue does not operate on a pure dry hire basis and typically does not allow external catering to be brought on site. You must use one of their contracted catering partners who will quote for both room hire and catering as part of their package.

The dinner package costs £67 per person including VAT and includes exclusive party suite hire, non-alcoholic arrival drink, three-course menu, staffing and security, and complimentary car parking. Additional costs may apply for upgrades or extras.

Yes, there is a separate room hire fee for the mezzanine area of £1,000 excluding VAT (£1,200 including VAT). This is in addition to the per-person catering costs.

The Derby Suite offers a bright, spacious room with magnificent views over London and the Downs, plus a private terrace overlooking the racecourse. There's also a mezzanine area suitable for reception drinks and robing, with ample room for a bar, dancefloor, and disco.

You must first choose from their list of contracted catering partners, then contact that caterer directly for quotes, availability, and site visit requests. The caterers handle both room hire and catering as part of their package, so you organize the show round with your chosen caterer.

The Derby Suite can accommodate various layouts depending on your needs. The venue has handled events with up to 500 people in theatre style, though specific capacity for wedding receptions in the Derby Suite would need to be confirmed based on your preferred layout and requirements.

For guest counts below 50, the venue will help find you an alternative venue as they cannot accommodate smaller weddings. For very large events (over 500-700 guests), the venue's kitchen facilities may not be able to service those numbers in seated capacity, so alternative arrangements would need to be discussed.
