Epsom Downs Racecourse

All meeting spaces at Epsom Downs Racecourse require a minimum of 30 people for bookings. This applies to both conference bookings and banqueting events, so groups smaller than 30 cannot be accommodated.

Day Delegate Rate packages start from £53 per person plus VAT. The Classic DDR Package at £53+VAT includes main suite hire, arrival tea/coffee with pastries and fruit, mid-morning refreshments, finger buffet lunch, afternoon tea/coffee, water jugs, projector and screen, flipchart and pens, complimentary Wi-Fi, free car parking, and a dedicated event manager.

External catering is not normally allowed on site. The venue works with contracted preferred caterers rather than offering pure dry hire, and you must use one of their approved catering partners who will quote for both room hire and catering as part of their package.

The Blue Riband Room can accommodate up to 224 people in cabaret style seating. The Diomed suite can hold up to 500 people in theatre style layout, while smaller spaces like the Downs View suite holds 60 people cabaret style, Gallops holds 48 people cabaret style, and the Double Box accommodates 24 people cabaret style.

Breakout room hire varies by space - Downs View suite costs £1,800 (often discounted to £1,000), Gallops costs £1,400 (often discounted to £800), and Double Box costs £600 (often discounted to £300). Basic projector and screen are included in DDR packages, but additional AV like lectern and mic costs £90, standalone mic costs £70, and a medium stage costs £350, all excluding VAT.

Beyond the standard DDR, you can upgrade to Premier DDR at £64+VAT which includes hot buffet lunch options. For evening events, all-inclusive dining packages start at £76 per person including VAT, featuring room hire, arrival bubbly, 3-course seated meal, tea/coffee, and staffing. Wine can be added at £18.75 per person for half bottles.

Banqueting bookings require a minimum of 50 people. Evening dining packages are available from £76 per person including VAT, and additional services like DJ and dance floor cost £400 excluding VAT. The venue can accommodate evening events until late depending on the specific requirements.

Room hire includes complimentary Wi-Fi, free car parking, and dedicated event management support. Many spaces feature private terraces with views over the racecourse and London skyline. The venue provides flipcharts and pens, water jugs, and basic PA systems are complimentary, with built-in sound systems available in main spaces.
