The Blue Riband Room is the largest conference and events space in the Queen's Stand. It is in the centre of the first floor and has a much loved double aspect view over both the Downs and the London skyline. It is an ideal space for a Conference, Presentation, Workshop, Team Building, Training or Networking Event. The Blue Riband Room is the perfect space for your Corporate Event. The price listed is inclusive of VAT. Please see the House Rules for details on the Delegate Package.

What are the Day Delegate Rate packages and pricing?
Day Delegate Rate packages start from £53 per person plus VAT. The Classic DDR Package at £53+VAT includes main suite hire, arrival tea/coffee with pastries and fruit, mid-morning refreshments, finger buffet lunch, afternoon tea/coffee, water jugs, projector and screen, flipchart and pens, complimentary Wi-Fi, free car parking, and a dedicated event manager.
Can I bring my own external catering to the venue?
External catering is not normally allowed on site. The venue works with contracted preferred caterers rather than offering pure dry hire, and you must use one of their approved catering partners who will quote for both room hire and catering as part of their package.
What are the capacity limits for different room configurations?
The Blue Riband Room can accommodate up to 224 people in cabaret style seating. The Diomed suite can hold up to 500 people in theatre style layout, while smaller spaces like the Downs View suite holds 60 people cabaret style, Gallops holds 48 people cabaret style, and the Double Box accommodates 24 people cabaret style.
Are there additional charges for breakout rooms and AV equipment?
Breakout room hire varies by space - Downs View suite costs £1,800 (often discounted to £1,000), Gallops costs £1,400 (often discounted to £800), and Double Box costs £600 (often discounted to £300).
