Epsom Downs Racecourse

All wedding bookings require a minimum of 50 people for banqueting events. Groups smaller than 50 cannot be accommodated for wedding receptions or dining events.

The venue does not operate on a pure dry hire basis and external catering is generally not permitted. You must use one of their contracted preferred caterers who will quote for both room hire and catering as part of their package.

Wedding packages start from £67 per person including VAT for their dinner package, which includes exclusive party suite use, non-alcoholic arrival drink, three-course menu, staffing and security, and complimentary car parking. Additional costs may apply for upgrades and extras.

The Downs View Suite on the second floor of the Duchess' Stand is specifically designed for weddings, featuring a unique curved wall, balcony with dramatic views across the Downs and racecourse, space for a bar, dancefloor and disco. The venue can accommodate various wedding layouts and guest numbers.

The Downs View Suite includes air conditioning, projector and screen, sound system, lighting controls, flipchart, tea and coffee facilities, WiFi, and 18x 13a sockets. The space has windows with grey-out options and comes with dedicated event management support.

You must first choose from their list of contracted preferred caterers, then contact your chosen caterer directly for quotes, availability and site visit requests. The caterers handle both room hire and catering costs as part of their package pricing.

The venue cannot accommodate very large weddings requiring 500+ seated guests or events needing to serve 700+ people, as their kitchen facilities and largest halls are not equipped to service these numbers in seated capacity.

Wedding availability varies by date and the venue operates specific booking procedures through their preferred caterers. The National Sales Manager works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, which may affect response times for enquiries and site visits.
