The Desert Orchid Suite is named after the much-loved grey race horse, and is a versatile space that can be tailored to suit a specific theme. The suite boasts its own large private balcony, which can provide an outside breakout area for visitors and delegates or act as a smoking area for events. It is an ideal space for an Office Party, Christmas Party or Dinner and is brilliantly suited for Cabaret. Theatre and Banquet layouts. We are more than able to cater for Corporate, Private and Charity Events.

The Exhibition Hall costs £1,788 + VAT per build-up day and £3,575 + VAT per event/open day. You must also budget for mandatory cleaning contribution of £425 + VAT, plus staffing costs including stewarding at £18.50 + VAT per hour (6-hour minimum), security at £26.80 + VAT per hour (6-hour minimum), and first aid at £185 + VAT per day. All staffing rates are subject to annual increases from 1st April.

The Exhibition Hall provides approximately 1,400m² of exhibition space on the ground floor of the grandstand. The space features natural daylight and is described as bright, vibrant and stylish. It's multifunctional and can accommodate trade shows, consumer shows, and product launches, though specific capacity numbers for different layouts are not specified in the venue information.

All staffing has a 6-hour minimum requirement. Rates include: stewarding, car park attendants, event support, and cloakroom staff at £18.50 + VAT per hour; SIA security at £26.80 + VAT per hour; SIA licensed supervisors at £28.30 + VAT per hour; CCTV operators at £31.50 + VAT per hour; and first aid at £185 + VAT per day (8-hour minimum). All rates double on bank holidays including New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

You must have public liability insurance with a minimum of £5 million cover to hire the Exhibition Hall. This is a mandatory requirement that must be in place before your event can proceed.

Catering is available with minimum spends that apply, though specific amounts are quoted on a case-by-case basis (POA - Price on Application). The venue can accommodate internal catering arrangements, and you'll need to confirm whether you require their catering services when making your enquiry.

AV equipment is available but pricing is quoted separately (POA - Price on Application). Furniture is also available on a Price on Application basis. Additional services like photocopying can be arranged, and any specific AV or furniture requirements will be quoted by your designated Kempton Park Event Manager.

The venue can accommodate external vendors, but you must provide health, safety and hygiene certificates for all food outlets as well as licenses for any bars. All external suppliers must be approved by the venue and meet their standards before being permitted on-site.

The venue cannot accommodate events requiring 500+ seated guests due to kitchen facility limitations. For a recent enquiry involving 700 guests with 500 seated, the venue confirmed they do not have suitable space or kitchen facilities to service these numbers in seated capacity.
