Hexagon Room at Lowry

The Pier Eight Room costs £995 + VAT for full day hire (08:00-18:00), the Hexagon Room is £850 + VAT for full day hire, and the Compass Room is £3,200 + VAT for full day hire (08:00-21:00). The North Room is £195 + VAT (reduced from £295) and the South Room is £395 + VAT for smaller meetings up to 14 people.

Day delegate rates start at £45.50 + VAT per person (minimum 50 delegates) including room hire, basic AV, arrival refreshments, lunch, and afternoon tea. Individual catering includes tea/coffee/pastries at £5.25 + VAT per person, tea/coffee/biscuits at £3.25 + VAT per person, and buffet options starting from £16.75 + VAT per person.

The Pier Eight Room holds up to 120 in theatre style or 64 in cabaret (80 on full rounds). The Compass Room has a minimum of 80 people and maximum of 150 for dinners (160 if no dancing space needed). The North and South Rooms each accommodate up to 14 people in boardroom layout with no natural daylight.

After agreeing to proceed, Lowry sends a booking contract that must be signed on pages 3 and 12. Once the signed contract is returned, a deposit invoice is sent for room hire only. The booking is not confirmed until the signed contract is received.

Lowry operates on a 'joint first option' basis where multiple clients can hold the same date. When another client expresses interest, it becomes first-come-first-served, and existing clients are notified out of courtesy that someone else has enquired for their held date.

The Pier Eight Room includes LCD projector (projects onto white wall), PA system, and WiFi. The North and South Rooms have built-in screens with projectors and/or plasma displays. The Hexagon Room includes LCD projector and blackout blinds for presentations.

Yes, the Compass Room requires a minimum of 80 people for catering, which is put on the contract. The day delegate rate requires a minimum of 50 delegates. You can finalize exact catering requirements and event details closer to the event date.

External catering is only permitted for religious purposes. If this applies, a separate dry hire package is available for £4,500. For the Compass Room specifically, the outside catering package costs £4,500 and includes dry hire of the room and kitchen with furniture provided.

The Hirespace platform blocks emails when trying to CC additional people, so direct communication with Lowry staff is recommended once booking. Ellen Kennedy specifically requests switching to direct email rather than the platform to avoid blocking other team members' email addresses.

The Pier Eight Room has floor-to-ceiling windows with waterside views and a private outdoor terrace, plus a foyer ideal for registration and refreshments. The Compass Room offers 360-degree views of Salford Quays with a private balcony. The Hexagon Room is accessed via a private internal bridge and offers both interior venue views and waterside views.
