Seminar Room 5 is a medium sized space located on the ground floor of King's House Conference Centre. The room hire includes all standard equipment including flip charts, whiteboard, pull down projector screen and coat rack with hangers. The room is typically used for breakout space, exams, seminars and training sessions.

Frequently asked questions

The venue only accepts business or educational conferences and exams. Other event types are not permitted at the facility.

The Auditorium accommodates 400 theatre, 350 banquet, or 280 cabaret style. The First Floor Hall holds 220 theatre, 180 banquet, 112 cabaret, or 52 classroom style. Seminar Room 4 fits 35 theatre, 27 banquet, 21 cabaret, 22 boardroom, or 12 classroom style.

Standard booking availability runs Monday to Friday during the day. Weekend bookings are limited - Saturday bookings are occasionally available but the venue is not set up for frequent weekend events, and Sunday hire is not offered.

Rooms are placed on hold for enquiries, but clients must respond to confirmation requests by specified deadlines (typically given 1-2 weeks notice). If no response is received by the deadline, the booking is automatically released and becomes available to other clients.

Events running beyond 17:30 incur overtime charges of £185 +VAT per hour in the First Floor Hall. Saturday bookings include an out of office surcharge of £26 +VAT per hour.

Standard AV includes flip charts, projector screens, and basic PA systems. Additional equipment costs include: 65" LED repeater screens at £185-£190 +VAT per pair (up to 6 screens available), video recording at £320-£360 +VAT, wall-mounted TV screens at £115 +VAT each, and hybrid meeting rates available on request.

The all-day tea, coffee and biscuits package costs £8 +VAT per head. Day Delegate Rates start from £38-£39 +VAT per person with minimum attendee requirements. Hot buffet lunches and various menu options are available with separate pricing provided in their catering documents.

Initial enquiries receive proposals with rooms placed on hold. Show rounds are available Monday-Friday 09:30-15:30 to help visualize the spaces. Terms and conditions, maps, and directions are provided with all proposals, and clients must confirm bookings by specified deadlines to secure their dates.
