The Main Hall is a versatile space ideal for conferences, presentations, small exhibitions, and large board meetings. Originally designed as a Quaker worship space, it features a simple and understated interior with excellent acoustics and glimpses of the original 19th-century beamed roof. The hall can accommodate up to 142 people in a theatre layout, with various other configurations available, including cabaret and boardroom styles. A small pull-out stage is available for speakers, and the room can be cleared for dancing or rehearsals. The Main Hall is equipped with a loop system, and additional equipment such as projectors and PA systems can be hired. It is perfect for both in-person and hybrid events, ensuring excellent connectivity with wired internet access.
