For smaller AGM's, conferences and meetings our River rooms offer a blank canvas space and stunning views. The room can hold minimum 80 theatre style up to 150. The Lower River Room can be used as a relax 'chill out' area during a larger conference.



Frequently asked questions

The venue has a minimum requirement of 100 attendees with pricing starting from £155 per person excluding VAT. This minimum applies across all event packages and cannot be waived for smaller groups.

The DDR costs £98 per person excluding VAT and includes venue hire, arrival refreshments, mid-morning refreshments, two-course hot fork buffet lunch, afternoon refreshments, basic AV equipment (projector, screen, microphone, lectern), staffing, and basic Wi-Fi up to 2Mbps per user. The package runs from 08:00-17:30 and includes access to foyer and mezzanine shared spaces.

The DDR includes hire of the Auditorium (minimum 300 attendees) or Newgate Suite (minimum 120 attendees). The Auditorium has tiered seating for 600 people, while the Newgate Suite can be divided into breakout areas or accommodate up to 150 people in various configurations.

Additional rooms cost: Newgate Suite £4,500 excluding VAT (08:00-17:30), Upper River Room £2,500-£3,500 excluding VAT, Lower River Room £2,500 excluding VAT, and Queenhithe Room £2,500 excluding VAT. Two Green Rooms (Castle Baynard and Workshop) are provided complimentary with bookings.

Early access from 06:00 costs £2,000 excluding VAT. Standard venue access begins at 08:00, with events typically running until 17:30. Extended hours beyond standard times incur additional charges.

Basic staffing (event manager, stewards, and cloakroom) is included in the DDR package. Additional staffing costs approximately £1,798-£2,050 excluding VAT depending on event duration and requirements. Security is mandatory for certain events at additional cost.

Basic AV (LCD projector, screen, flipchart, lectern, microphone) is included in DDR. The Auditorium includes a full PA system with Yamaha QL1 mixing desk, Bose speakers, 4 handheld radio mics, 16ft x 9ft screen, and 15k HD projector. Upgraded AV packages range from £1,100-£1,950 excluding VAT depending on requirements.

Additional catering includes: 4 canapés at £13 per person, 2-hour drinks reception (house wine, beer, soft drinks) at £25 per person, 3-hour drinks reception at £30 per person, and bakery basket at £2.75 per person. All prices exclude VAT.

Enquiries are automatically released from the system if no response is received by end of day Monday after initial contact. For short lead-time events, the venue requires booking confirmation and 100% payment by end of week. Joint first option holds are available while clients compare venues.

Christmas reception package costs £155 per person excluding VAT (room hire 18:30-midnight, arrival drinks, 6-item bowl food, unlimited beer/wine/soft drinks, DJ, dedicated event manager, cloakroom). Seated Christmas dinner package costs £165 per person excluding VAT. Both packages have minimum numbers requirements.
