What is the maximum capacity for seated and standing events?

The venue can accommodate 300-350 people seated or up to 700 people standing when using all three interconnected spaces. Individual spaces have smaller capacities, with the Black Studio seating up to 170 conference-style or 300 standing.

What are the daily hire rates and what's included?

Daily hire starts at £2,000 + VAT for 8am-6pm access. Individual spaces vary: The Onyx Bar costs £1,500 + VAT, the Warehouse £2,500 + VAT, and the Black Studio £3,500 + VAT. All rates include staff, security, and basic AV equipment.

What AV equipment is included in the hire fee?

Each space includes LED screens, PA systems, wired microphones, and custom Funktion1 sound systems. The Black Studio also includes lighting and can provide a small stage. All AV equipment is included in the base hire fee.

Do you provide catering or can I bring external caterers?

The venue doesn't provide in-house catering but welcomes external caterers. They work with catering partners like Pique for light nibbles and can provide recommendations. All spaces have bar facilities where guests can purchase their own drinks.

What are the standard event hours and can I extend beyond them?

Standard day hire is 8am-6pm, but extended hours are available. Events can run until late night or early morning hours (examples show events until 2am and 5am). Pricing for extended hours would need to be quoted separately.

Is furniture included or do I need to hire separately?

The venue doesn't have chairs in-house and furniture needs to be hired separately through suppliers like yahire.com. They can provide a small stage and working cloakroom facilities, but tables and seating must be arranged externally.

What are the drink token costs and bar arrangements?

Drink tokens for beer, wine, and soft drinks cost £8.50 including VAT each. Each space has its own bar facilities where guests can purchase drinks directly, or you can arrange pre-paid drink tokens for your event.

Do you offer charity rates or discounts for non-profit events?

The venue does consider charity rates for qualifying events. When enquiring about charity events, mention this specifically as they may offer discounted pricing for registered charities and non-profit organizations.

What are the setup and breakdown access times?

Setup access can be arranged from early morning (examples show 6am access), and breakdown can extend until 5pm the following day if needed. Extended access times for multi-day events or complex setups are available and should be discussed when booking.

Is there disabled access and parking available?

The venue can accommodate wheelchair users and provides disabled access. Disabled parking is available and should be mentioned when booking to ensure proper arrangements are made for guests with mobility requirements.
