The hire fee includes 2 sound technicians, 1 lighting technician, 1 event manager, 1 venue manager, 1 technical manager, load-in and load-out security, pre and post cleaning, 1 live event cleaner, 1 medic during live event hours, and a £1,000 allowance for bar staff within the standard venue hire.

Exclusive use includes the main theatre, private balconies, roof terrace, Luno Lounge, 2 dressing rooms with shared green room and shower facilities, 1 separate green room with private shower and toilet, backstage Wi-Fi, and in-house sound and lighting package. All spaces are available from 10am until 1am.
What additional costs should I budget for beyond the base hire fee and bar minimum?
Additional costs include event security (1 head of security plus supervisors), cloakroom attendants, optional £3,200 LED screen with VJ, optional event check-in hosts, optional £400 stage barrier removal, optional stage stairs, and optional show caller/producer. All additional staff costs are estimates excluding VAT.
How does the food and beverage service work at KOKO Theatre?
KOKO operates on a semi-dry hire basis where all beverages must be provided by KOKO from their 5 bars with a £4,500 + VAT minimum spend requirement. Food is provided by KOKO's approved suppliers only - you cannot bring your own catering or use external caterers.
What is KOKO's booking process and how do they handle date holds?
KOKO uses a pencil system for date holds, with first pencil being the strongest hold and second pencil being backup options. They can create bespoke packages based on your budget and will release held dates if bookings don't proceed. Site tours can be arranged for serious enquiries.
