Princess Alexandra Hall accommodates up to 150 guests theatre style, 100 guests cabaret style, or 80 guests on round tables with space for a dance floor. For dining events with catering space at the back, capacity reduces to 80 guests on round tables.

Standard access varies by event type: conferences typically run 8:00-17:00, evening events 18:00-23:00. Access from 08:00 is available for day events, with venues requiring full vacation by specified end times. Extended hours may be possible but require advance arrangement.

Princess Alexandra Hall includes integrated AV system with stage, screen, projector, PA sound system, handheld and lapel microphones, and lectern. Piano hire costs £200 plus VAT plus tuning. Additional AV requirements or technical support may incur extra charges.

Day delegate packages start from £85-£143 plus VAT per person (minimum 80-100 guests) including room hire, catering, and AV. Dinner packages range from £137-£140 plus VAT per person (minimum 60-70 guests). Wedding packages start at £244 plus VAT per person (minimum 30 guests).

Written confirmation with contract and billing details is required, followed by a signed contract within one week. Deposit of 100% of room hire and minimum catering spend (or 100% of package price based on minimum numbers) is required within one week of confirmation.

A discretionary 12.5% service charge applies to all food and beverage on the net value. Entertainment, decorations, and external suppliers are not included in room hire and incur additional costs. All prices quoted are plus VAT.

All external suppliers and entertainers must be approved in advance by the events team. Music must be in keeping with the clubhouse environment - classical, jazz, or acoustic background music is preferred. Entertainment costs are additional and not included in standard packages.

Yes, Princess Alexandra Hall can be combined with other spaces. Garden access requires separate hire (£5,500-£11,500 plus VAT minimum) and Director General approval for exclusive use. Combined bookings allow for reception areas, wet weather contingency, or expanded capacity.
