As Covent Garden's original flower market, the Galleries at London Transport Museum provide a unique space for any event from breakfasts to award ceremonies to product launches to panel discussions.

Guests are immersed in two floors of London's rich transport history including interactive exhibitions, early tube carriages and our ever-popular Elizabeth Line driving experience. Surrounded by our collection of iconic red buses, the space can host up to 150 guests for seated dinners and 400 for standing receptions.




Frequently asked questions

The Cubic Theatre and Foyer together cost £3,000 + VAT for 09:00-17:00 hire, with extra hours available at £550 + VAT per hour. The Cubic Foyer alone costs £2,500 + VAT for the same timeframe. Some quotes show £3,500 + VAT for the combined spaces, indicating pricing may vary by specific requirements.

The Cubic Theatre has tiered seating for 110 guests (though some communications mention 80 guests). The Cubic Foyer can accommodate up to 80 guests for standing receptions after recent refurbishment. For events exceeding 80 guests, split breaks are advised to ensure guest comfort.

All theatre AV is included: true 4K DCI cinema projection, large projection screen, Dolby Digital surround sound, lectern with desktop microphone, built-in stage, and basic microphone package (1 lectern mic, 1 handheld mic, 1 lapel mic). Additional microphones cost £35 + VAT each, and a dedicated Museum Technical Assistant can be booked for full event duration.

Benugo are the exclusive in-house caterer for the Cubic Theatre and Foyer spaces. External catering is not permitted, as confirmed when declining events that requested to bring their own caterers. All food and beverage must be provided through Benugo.

The venue can provisionally hold spaces for 2 weeks. This allows time to confirm booking details and finalize arrangements before requiring a firm commitment.

One technician is available for the first hour of hire as standard. For events requiring more technical AV support, a dedicated Museum Technical Assistant can be hired for the full duration, with pricing dependent on specific requirements.

The hire includes 4 poseur tables ideal for guest comfort during refreshment breaks, all necessary AV equipment, and a large screen in the Cubic Foyer for branding, promotional videos, or itinerary display. All delegates receive complimentary entry into the Museum on the event day.

The venue cannot accommodate events requiring more than 110 theatre-style seating or 80 standing reception capacity. Events requiring outdoor spaces, courtyards, or significantly larger capacities are declined. The venue also has budget minimums that may exclude lower-budget events.
