Kent House Knightsbridge

Exclusive venue hire is £4,500 + VAT for events, with some variations based on event type and duration. Wedding dry hire is priced at £14,500 + VAT for a 10-hour hire. Corporate events may be quoted around £1,200-£1,250 per day including AV equipment for smaller meetings.

Kent House Knightsbridge operates on an exclusive hire basis only - you cannot hire separate rooms within the venue. The venue hire gives you complete privacy and access to all spaces including the Rutland Room, North Sanctuary, Marble Hall, and Library.

The venue does not have internal catering for private dining but recommends approved catering partners including Hibiscus Food and Melanie's Catering. You are also welcome to bring in your own external catering. The venue does not operate cash bars.

The venue accommodates 60-150 guests depending on the event format. For weddings with larger numbers, only stand-up format is available. The Rutland Room can accommodate 30 people theatre style, while other spaces can be configured for various seating arrangements.

The venue has in-house AV equipment including screens, projectors, PA systems, microphones, and lecterns. The Rutland Room specifically has AV and screen capabilities. Technical equipment is typically included in the venue hire cost for corporate events.

Standard exclusive hire runs from 6pm to 11pm for evening events. Wedding packages are priced for 10-hour hire periods. The venue was not available for morning hire on one occasion (16th August 2025), suggesting some timing restrictions may apply.

Bookings require a signed booking form and payment can be made via a Stripe payment link provided by the venue. A fully refundable damage deposit of £1,000 is required. The venue can put dates on hold while you confirm requirements.

Available spaces include the Rutland Room, North Sanctuary, Marble Hall, and Library. The Rutland Room is ideal for theatre-style seating and meetings, while the Marble Hall can be used for drinks receptions. The North Sanctuary offers blank walls and quiet space, perfect for filming or presentations.

The venue has indicated that budgets below certain thresholds are too low for Kent House Knightsbridge. Based on correspondence, budgets significantly below the £4,500 + VAT venue hire fee plus catering costs are typically declined.

The venue provides professional event planning support, dedicated event managers, security services, and can arrange venue styling. There are multiple event spaces available for different parts of your event, and the venue offers viewing appointments with tea or coffee to discuss requirements.
