What is the venue hire cost for exclusive use of Kent House Knightsbridge?

Exclusive venue hire is £4,500 + VAT, which is a dry hire fee covering only the building use. This does not include catering, AV equipment, staffing, or any other services. All additional requirements must be arranged and paid for separately.

Can I hire individual rooms or do I need to book the entire venue?

Kent House Knightsbridge operates on an exclusive hire basis only - you cannot hire separate rooms within the venue. For smaller events, individual room hire such as the Rutland Room is available for approximately £1,200-£1,250 per day including in-house AV equipment.

What spaces are available for corporate events and conferences?

The venue offers multiple flexible spaces including the Rutland Room (ideal for 30 people theatre style), the North Sanctuary, the Library, and the Marble Hall. The Rutland Room can accommodate theatre-style seating with AV equipment, screen, and lectern all available in-house.

What AV equipment and technical facilities are included?

In-house AV equipment includes PA system, projector, screen, microphones for speeches, and lectern. The venue has air conditioning and natural light throughout. For individual room bookings like the Rutland Room, AV equipment is included in the daily rate.

Do you provide catering or do I need to arrange my own?

Kent House Knightsbridge does not have internal catering for private events. They recommend catering partners including Hibiscus Food (hibiscusfood.co.uk) and Melanie's Catering, or you can bring in your own approved caterers. Pre-dinner drinks can be arranged through their recommended partners.

What are the typical event timings and access hours?

Standard exclusive hire packages typically run from 6pm to 11pm. For filming and smaller events, access can be arranged from 1pm to 5pm for £250. Extended hours and early access are available for additional fees.

Is there a minimum spend or guest requirement for bookings?

For exclusive venue hire at £4,500 + VAT, there is no specific minimum guest requirement mentioned, though the venue accommodates 60-150 guests. Individual room bookings like the Rutland Room have lower minimums and are suitable for smaller corporate meetings of around 30 people.

Can I arrange a venue viewing before booking?
