Exclusive venue hire is £4,500 + VAT for events, with some quotes showing £14,500 + VAT for 10-hour wedding hire. The venue operates on exclusive hire only - you cannot book individual rooms within the building. All pricing is for complete privacy and use of the entire townhouse.

You must hire the entire venue exclusively - individual room bookings are not available. As stated by the venue, "you cannot hire separate rooms within the venue" and all events require exclusive use of the complete townhouse for privacy.

For weddings with larger guest numbers, only stand-up format is available. The Rutland Room accommodates 30 people theatre style, while the venue can handle events from 60-150 guests depending on layout and event type.

Kent House does not have internal catering for private dining. They recommend approved catering partners including Hibiscus Food and Melanie's Catering, or you can bring your own caterer. Some package deals include catering at £230 per person or dry hire with caterer packages at £12,500 + VAT for 10 hours.

The venue includes in-house AV equipment such as screen, projector, PA system, microphone for speeches, and lectern. The Rutland Room specifically has AV and screen capabilities, and some quotes mention this equipment is included in the hire fee.

The venue is not available for morning events on certain dates (as seen with the 16th August 2025 morning unavailability). Standard evening events typically run 6pm-11pm, with extensions available, and some packages include 10-hour hire periods.

Beyond the £4,500 + VAT venue hire, you need to budget for catering, security, lighting, DJ services, and any additional equipment. Package deals range from £12,500-£14,500 + VAT including various services, and there's a £1,000 fully refundable damage deposit.

The venue does not operate cash bars. Bar services and drinks packages must be arranged through approved caterers or as part of event packages, which can include unlimited wine, beer, and soft drinks for specified durations.

The venue requires a signed booking form and offers online payment through Stripe links. They can put dates on hold while you confirm details, and there's a £1,000 fully refundable damage deposit required separate from the venue hire fee.

Available spaces include the Rutland Room (ideal for 30 people theatre style), North Sanctuary (with blank walls for filming/presentations), Marble Hall (for drinks receptions), and the Library. The venue offers multiple interconnecting rooms and two outdoor terraces for flexibility.
