We opened our doors on High Holborn in 2014; offering a place for people to sleep, eat, work and play, every single day. With 220 bedrooms, one restaurants Rondo and The Apartment, our meetings and events space like no other.
The Apartment has been fully renovated in 2020 and has seven rooms to choose from and a pantry kitchen to raid when it all gets too much. So whether you need a break from the same four walls, got clients in town or need to nail a pitch, we've got space to fit you all.

The new-look Belgravia Room adjoins the Ballroom and uses the same contemporary design language by interior architect John Heah, creating one seamlessly flowing space. The Belgravia can be used in conjunction with the Ballroom as a break-out room or cocktail/reception area. It also stands on its own as a venue with perfect dimensions for medium-sized parties. For daytime events, the Belgravia has floods of natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Wilton Place. Its separate entrance ensures privacy for your guests.
One of the grandest ballrooms in London, The Pompadour Ballroom is the largest event space at Hotel Café Royal. It has been beautifully restored to feature original and ornate detailing and is perfect for your next conference, business meeting or corporate reception. The Louis XVI style room has a series of Corinthian pilasters and mirrored panels with gilded frames, accented further by a rich decorative ceiling, elaborately depicting scenes of love.
Mall Galleries largest exhibition space has recently been refurbished. Vast, modern and equipped to the highest specification, it provides an impressive, spacious and stylish surrounding for a variety of event types including drinks receptions, award ceremonies and networking events -its is often the central location during an event. Mall Galleries provide exclusive hire and use of all galleries for an event.
The Gallery Room is an excellent spot for large meetings, business lunches, dinners or small conferences. with a capacity of 72 seated or 120 standing. This room was completely redesigned by in a British 20's and 30's theme making it the most fascinating dining and meeting experience with its large atrium style ceilings and wood paneled walls. There is a private bar in the room for refreshment breaks during meetings or conferences. With excellent natural light the Gallery room is a good choice for small day conferences.
The London Library is available for evening hire for a range of business and corporate events, including networking, dinners, receptions, awards, presentations, launches and celebrations. With an enviable location directly off St James's Square and a few minutes walk from Piccadilly and Pall Mall. The Library's stunning, yet modest facade hides a wealth of amazing features, making it one of the most unique venue hire spaces in London. Hire is available on Wednesday - Saturday evenings, after 5.30pm.
The Val Parnell Bar at the London Palladium captures the heart and soul of the one hundred years of Variety Performances, an attribute that the theatre is renowned for following its extensive £5 million renovation. The Val Parnell Bar is the perfect setting for a private or corporate event, drinks reception or an exclusive post-show celebration.
Any event held at St James's Piccadilly is steeped in history, with easy access to the rest of the West End, Soho, and Mayfair. Moments from Piccadilly and Green Park tube stations. The church was designed by Sir Christopher Wren and consecrated in 1684. Wren's design is committed to simplicity, with clear glass windows that flood the space with dappled light.
