The Edinburgh Suite located on the first floor boasts natural daylight and is designed to incorporate the architecture and heritage of the venue.

This room can accommodate up to 400 guests for a standing buffet and 200 guests for a banquet. The Drawing Room, adjacent to the Edinburgh Suite is designed with a dramatic and theatrical feel, magnificent lighting and self contained with a circular bar - perfect for a drinks reception, coffee point, or breakout area for an exhibition or main plenary room.




Frequently asked questions

Dry hire packages start from £10,000.00 inclusive of VAT. For larger events, rates can reach £14,000.00 inclusive of VAT as shown in negotiations. The dry hire includes basic room access but excludes catering, security, and additional services which must be arranged separately.

The banquet package is £126.00 per person including VAT with room hire from 18:00-01:00. This includes glass of sparkling wine, three-course dinner, half bottle of house wine, coffee and petit fours, mineral water, red carpet on arrival, black or white linens, dance floor, and dedicated event manager.

Yes, security is compulsory for all events at £29.40 per hour inclusive of VAT. For 1-200 guests, 2 guards are required; 201-400 guests need 4 guards; 401-600 guests require 6 guards. Minimum booking is 4 hours and must be paid no later than 1 month prior to the event.

For ticketed events, all tickets must be pre-purchased and the venue does not allow tickets to be sold on the night. This policy applies to all ticketed events regardless of size or type.

The venue can accommodate up to 350 people for events as mentioned in correspondence. For boxing shows or events requiring special equipment like rings, capacity is reduced but specific numbers depend on the setup requirements and would need to be confirmed for each event.

Day Delegate Rates range from £55.00 to £87.00 per person inclusive of VAT (reduced from higher rates). Packages include room hire 09:00-17:00, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, water, energising lunch, tea/coffee/refreshments, flipchart, and 3000 lumen LCD projector with 8x6 screen. Minimum 10 people required for some packages.

The venue holds provisional bookings on 'joint 1st option' but will release dates if no updates are received. Confirmation decisions are required by specific deadlines (such as 1pm on specified dates) or bookings will be automatically released. Payment terms require security costs to be paid 1 month prior to events.

Meeting room hire ranges from £530.00 to £2,200.00 VAT exempt (reduced rates). This includes meeting room hire, pads and pencils, comprehensive Wi-Fi access, and chilled conference mineral water. Additional items like tea/coffee service cost £3.95 per person per serving, and LCD projector/screen from £195.00 inclusive of VAT.

Christmas packages are £112.00 per person inclusive of VAT (reduced from £190.00). This includes 3-course meal, exclusive room hire 18:00-01:00, sparkling wine on arrival, three-course dinner, tea/coffee and mince pies, half bottle of wine per person, Christmas novelties, traditional decorations, and DJ with dance floor until 1am.

For post-meeting drinks events, there's a minimum spend requirement of £3,000.00 to £5,000.00 inclusive of VAT with at least 50% spent on food. If the guaranteed minimum spend is not reached, the remaining balance will be charged as room hire.
