The Great Hall is one of London’s largest and most versatile function spaces for hire. Situated on the ground floor of the club’s West Stand. The room offers high ceilings and 1,400m2 of load bearing floor space accommodating up to 50 shell schemes for an exhibition. In addition to this, The Great Hall can also accommodate a large variety of business events including larger conferences for up to 750 guests in theatre style or 550 guests in cabaret style.

The space has unobstructed views from all 4 corners towards a stage and set which can be installed by our in house AV specialists Peachy.




Frequently asked questions

The minimum charge for The Great Hall is £50,000 plus VAT. This covers room hire only and does not include catering, AV, or additional services. Carpet and draping of the space costs an additional £12,500 plus VAT, which is mandatory for most events.

The Great Hall can accommodate up to 750 guests in theatre style, 550 guests in cabaret style, or 1,000 guests standing reception. For exhibitions, the space can hold up to 50 shell schemes across 1,400m² of load-bearing floor space.

DDR packages range from £65-£102 plus VAT per person depending on the room and requirements. They typically include arrival refreshments, mid-morning tea/coffee, working lunch buffet, afternoon refreshments, hydration station, and main meeting room hire. Minimum numbers apply and vary by room.

Individual suite hire ranges from £2,000-£4,000 plus VAT per day. The Hollins Suite, Tambling Suite (£2,000 plus VAT), Harris Suite (£4,000 plus VAT), and Canoville Suite (£3,000-£5,000 plus VAT) are available. Multiple breakout rooms like Millennium suites cost £400-£480 plus VAT each.

Yes, events cannot take place on match days when Chelsea has a home fixture. The venue will inform you if a fixture is scheduled for your requested date and ask for alternative dates. This applies even for England games if Chelsea has a home match scheduled.

Beyond room hire, expect carpet and draping at £12,500 plus VAT for The Great Hall, AV packages from £795-£10,920 plus VAT, set-up fees of £4,000 plus VAT for large events, and account bar setup at £800 plus VAT. Security and cloakroom services are also mandatory for certain events.

Drinks packages include 1-hour unlimited sparkling wine at £22 plus VAT per person, 1-hour beer and wine at £25 plus VAT, 2-hour at £35 plus VAT, and 3-hour at £45 plus VAT per person. Dinner packages start at £140 plus VAT per person including three courses, wine, and room setup.

Peachy Productions is the on-site AV company offering packages from £795 plus VAT for basic setups to £10,920 plus VAT for comprehensive packages. Services include sound systems, lighting, projectors, screens, microphones, and technical support. Custom AV solutions can be arranged for larger events.

Under the Bridge venue has a 1am late license for after-parties and events with entertainment. Standard event spaces typically operate during business hours. Late-night events require specific arrangements and may incur additional security and staffing costs.
