The Library can provide a very special setting for private or corporate lunches and dinners for up to 22 guests on one long table, or 40 guests on round tables. The adjoining studio provides an easy setting for a welcome drink before moving into the Library for your meal. Our in-house chef offers complete bespoke menus for any occasions, and external caterers are also welcomed.

The Library can accommodate up to 22 guests on one long table or 40 guests on round tables for private or corporate dining events. The adjoining Studio space can be used for welcome drinks before moving into the Library for meals.

Room hire for the Library and Studio combination ranges from £994 +VAT for a 4-hour hire (9:00-13:00) to £1,438 +VAT for longer events (13:00-17:00). All prices include dedicated waiting staff and are subject to 20% VAT.

Asia House has an in-house chef offering complete bespoke menus for any occasion, and external caterers are also welcomed. For external catering, there's a dry hire fee of £600 +VAT which includes use of the ground floor kitchen, plus corkage charges of £12 +VAT per wine bottle, £15 +VAT per champagne bottle, and £1 +VAT per beer bottle.

Yes, there are specific minimums: DDR packages require a minimum of 25 guests at £75 +VAT per person, hot or cold fork buffets have a minimum of 15 guests, and sandwich lunches have a minimum order of 10 guests. Drinks are charged on consumption with no minimum spend.

Available AV includes plasma TV (£150 +VAT), PA system (£300 +VAT), conference projector (£250 +VAT), and microphones (£85 +VAT each). An AV technician is recommended for more than 3 handheld microphones or lapel microphones, charged at £85 +VAT per hour with a 4-hour minimum.

Yes, the building is fully accessible with a lift to access bathrooms and a ramp that is placed outside the building for wheelchair users. The ramp is set up before arrival and again when guests leave.

Standard hire periods run from 09:00-17:00 or 13:00-17:00. Evening events can extend until 22:00, with late licenses available until midnight for an additional £500 +VAT per hour from 10pm onwards.

Beyond room hire, budget for: waiting staff (included in quoted prices), AV equipment if needed, corkage fees if bringing own alcohol (£12-15 +VAT per bottle), dry hire fee (£600 +VAT) if using external caterers, and potential late license fees (£500 +VAT per hour after 10pm). All prices are subject to 20% VAT.

External caterers are welcomed with a dry hire fee of £600 +VAT including kitchen access. However, Asia House will not provide equipment, tables, chairs, linen, cutlery, glassware or waiting staff with dry hire - these must be hired separately at additional cost (chairs £3.50 +VAT, tables £12 +VAT).

The DDR package costs £75 +VAT per person (minimum 25 guests) and includes: full-day meeting room hire, pastries and fruit on arrival, 3 servings of tea/coffee/biscuits throughout the day, bottled mineral water, hot or cold fork buffet lunch, dedicated waiting staff, air conditioning, and WiFi.
