What are the catering pricing options and what's included in the Day Delegate Rate?

The Oval Day Delegate Rate is £81.00-£97.20 per person plus VAT and includes room hire from 7am-5pm, arrival breakfast rolls and overnight oats with tea/coffee, mid-morning handmade biscuits with tea/coffee, hot finger food buffet lunch, mid-afternoon cake with tea/coffee, fruit and filtered water throughout the day, plus a screen and projector. Individual catering items range from £3.50+VAT for basic tea/coffee to £14.00+VAT for unlimited tea/coffee.

How long can I hold a space without confirming and what are the payment requirements?

Event holds are typically released after 2-3 weeks without confirmation, with some holds expiring after just one week. The venue will handover to your coordinator only when the contracted amount is paid in full. For events close to the date, signed contracts and payment may be required within days of the proposal.

What are the site visit restrictions and timing requirements?

Site visits must be scheduled between 9:30am-11:30am and cannot be shown after midday. The venue requires advance notice and confirmation of exact arrival times for all site visits.

Are there minimum guest requirements for different spaces?

Yes, the Corinthian Roof Terrace has a minimum requirement of 100 guests. Other spaces may have different minimums, so confirm specific requirements when booking your chosen venue area.

Can I bring external suppliers and what are the restrictions during cricket matches?

External suppliers are permitted for services like team building, gin masterclasses, and cricket experiences through approved vendors. However, during T20 fixtures and cricket matches, regular event spaces are unavailable and you must book hospitality packages instead, starting at £149 per person plus VAT.

What AV equipment is included and what are the additional costs?

Basic rooms include built-in screens, projectors, PA systems, and 2 handheld microphones. The England Suite AV Package costs £3,495+VAT, while the 175 Suite AV Package is £10,350+VAT per day. All AV is provided by in-house supplier Encore Global.

What are the setup and access time requirements?

Events typically require 3-hour setup periods for AV testing and exhibitor setup. Access can be arranged from 6:00am on event days, with some events requiring evening-before setup access. Setup day room hire ranges from £4,000-£7,500+VAT depending on the space.
