What are the minimum spending requirements for Garden hire?

Garden exclusive hire requires a minimum spend of £11,500 plus VAT. For partial Garden hire with the Brabourne Room, the minimum catering spend is £6,000 plus VAT with room hire at £5,500 plus VAT. The venue also offers a minimum requirement of £12,000 for garden reservations including hire charge and food & beverage.

What are the capacity limits and access times for Garden events?

The Garden accommodates up to 120 guests standing. Access times vary: from 14:00 to 22:00 for evening events, 12:00 to 16:00 or 18:00 to 22:00 for exclusive hire, and 13:00 to 22:00 for all-day hire. All events must be fully vacated by the specified end time.

What catering packages are available for Garden parties?

Summer packages include BBQ Menu at £187 plus VAT per person (60 guest minimum), Pizza Menu at £181 plus VAT per person, and Combination BBQ and Pizza Menu at £190 plus VAT per person. All packages include one-hour champagne or cocktail reception and three hours of unlimited beer, house wine and soft drinks.

What music and entertainment restrictions apply in the Garden?

Music in the Garden must be in keeping with the Clubhouse environment and neighbourhood. Only jazz, classical or acoustic background music is permitted - no amplified music. All suppliers and entertainers must be approved in advance by the Event Team, and entertainment is charged at additional cost.

Is dry hire available and what catering restrictions exist?

Six Park Place does not offer dry hire due to limited kitchen facilities available to external caterers. All events must use the venue's in-house catering services. The venue has catering in-house and requires minimum catering spends with all bookings.

What deposit and booking requirements apply?

A signed contract and deposit of 100% of the Room Hire and Minimum Catering Spend (or 100% of Package Price based on minimum numbers) is required within one week of confirmation. Written confirmation must include contact details for the contract and invoicing, plus relevant billing address.

What additional charges should I expect beyond the base costs?

A discretionary 12.5% service charge on food and beverage is added to all final invoices (you can opt out by informing the Sales & Events Team before final invoice). Entertainment, decorations, and any additional services beyond the package inclusions are charged separately.

What facilities and equipment are included with Garden hire?

The Garden is complete with grill, pizza oven, lounge areas, parasols, and Garden Bar. The Decking area has raised private space with parasols, lighting and heating. Wet weather backup options include Princess Alexandra Hall or Hall of India & Pakistan at additional room hire costs.

What are the wedding package options and pricing?

The Lily Wedding Package costs £244 plus VAT per guest with a 30-guest minimum. It includes one-hour sparkling wine reception, 8 canapé items, three-course dinner with tea/coffee, half bottle house wine, champagne toast, white linen, silver cake stand and knife, room hire for Garden and Princess Alexandra Hall (18:00-23:00), and event management.

How does Garden exclusive hire approval work?

Garden exclusive hire must be approved by the ROSL Director General. Six Park Place is home to the Royal Over-Seas League members' club, so members will have access to designated member spaces and communal areas while event rooms are hired exclusively to clients. The Garden is not exclusive hire unless prior agreement is made.
