Frequently asked questions

Friday evening hire starts from £5,000 + VAT, with evening hire at £11,000 + VAT including catering, production and security. Day conference packages start from £10,600 + VAT for 100 guests including exclusive use, security, event management, staffing, AV equipment, and full catering. Additional costs for catering, production and security are mandatory on top of basic venue hire.

OXO2 can accommodate up to 400 guests for standing receptions. The space offers flexible layouts including theatre style, cabaret seating, and standing reception formats. As a blank canvas venue, it can be configured to suit various event types from conferences to fashion shows.

Standard day hire runs from 08:00-18:00, with evening events typically finishing by 23:59. Extended hours until 5pm can be arranged at no additional cost if contracts are signed within the specified timeframe. Setup time and access hours vary depending on event requirements.

In-house AV inclusions feature 4 x 75" professional display screens, 12 x uplighters, 2 x handheld microphones, lectern, and high quality PA system. Vibration Production serves as the exclusive production partner for additional AV requirements including audio, video, lighting, branding, staging and furniture.

Full catering packages include 3 servings of tea and coffee, 2 cold breakfast items, 2 mid-morning break bites, sandwich lunch with sides, 2 mid-afternoon break bites, plus welcome drinks (prosecco/beer/wine/soft drinks). Bowl food reception packages and three-course sit-down dinners are available with minimum spend requirements in addition to venue hire.

Security, event management, staffing, and cleaning are mandatory for all events and included in quoted packages. Cloakroom service is provided as standard. All events require these services which are factored into the total cost rather than being optional extras.

Dates are held on first option basis for 7 days before becoming joint first option. Contracts are processed via DocuSign for electronic signing. Deposit payments are required as per contract terms, with full payment possible in advance. Vendor setup forms must be completed for payment processing.

OXO2 is located at Level Two, OXO Tower Wharf, Barge House Street, London SE1 9PH. Access is via the exclusive entrance at the top of the long staircase on the West side of the OXO tower block (closest to London Eye/Waterloo). Nearest stations are Blackfriars and Waterloo.

OXO2 is operated by C&H (BWG) Limited, a Broadwick company, following the acquisition of Camm & Hooper. All existing contracts are honored under the new ownership. Contact details include direct lines and the main events team for enquiries and bookings.

Budgets vary significantly by event type and size. Corporate events for 100 guests start around £10,600 + VAT for day conferences. Evening parties and receptions require higher budgets due to additional production and security requirements. The venue team can advise if proposed budgets are feasible for specific requirements.
