How does the payment structure work and when are final payments due?

You pay a deposit to secure your booking (£300 for most events, £1,000 for larger bookings), then final payment can be made via invoice or on the event night. For larger late-night bookings, card authentication (verification only, not charged) is required seven days prior. If you choose a cash bar option, the deposit is refunded the next day if minimum spend is reached.

What are the age restrictions and ID requirements for events?

All guests consuming alcohol must be 18+ with valid ID, and Le Bab operates a Check 25 policy across all venues. You must inform them at booking time if underage guests will attend. Failure to notify about underage attendees may result in event cancellation and deposit forfeiture.

What pre-order menu options are available and how much do they cost?

Bottomless Brunch costs £60pp for 3 courses with 2 hours unlimited selected beers and Prosecco. Set Menu is £35pp for 3 courses, or £50pp for the Bubbles package (includes arrival Prosecco and half bottle wine per person). Party Food Menu features canapés, bowl food, and kebabitos served tray-style or buffet-style, with pricing available on request.

When are menus and pricing confirmed, and can they change?

Menus and pricing may see minor changes, with final menus confirmed one month prior to your event. All dietary requirements can be accommodated - you must specify these at the time of pre-ordering.

Le Bab Covent Garden offers The Lounge (private dining and event space) and Kebab Queen, while Battersea Power Station offers full venue hire. Timings are flexible and can be customized to your needs. Standard quoted times include 6pm-12am and 8:30pm-2am slots, but these can be adjusted. Different time slots may affect minimum spend requirements, particularly for late-night events.

What's included in the minimum spend and are there any additional fees?

There are no hire fees - all pre-ordered food and drinks plus anything spent on the day counts toward your minimum spend. The minimum spend includes VAT, but a 12.5% service charge is added to all bills. Pre-order drinks receive a 20% discount, and you have access to a private bar.

Can I arrange a venue viewing before confirming my booking?

What happens if I need to reach minimum spend through bar sales only?

If you opt for a cash bar approach, your minimum spend can be reached entirely through bar sales on the night. In this case, your deposit will be refunded the next day providing the minimum spend target has been met.
