Frequently asked questions

The Terrace Room hire ranges from £1,400+VAT (with 20% discount) to £2,300+VAT depending on date and duration. This includes room hire with capacity for up to 150 standing reception or 80 seated dining, 135" LED screen, sound system with 4 microphones, background music, 5 uplighters, Wi-Fi, AV team support, terrace furniture, and access to facilities and 2 lifts on the floor.

The Terrace Room accommodates up to 150 guests for standing reception style events, 120 delegates for reception style with natural daylight, 80 guests for banqueting/seated dining style, or 75 delegates in theatre style setup. The space is self-contained with facilities on the same floor.

Standard access times are typically 18:00-23:30 for evening events or 08:00-17:00 for day events. Additional access from 7am or extending up to 11:00pm costs £500+VAT per hour, subject to availability.

Included AV: 135" LED screen, sound system, 4 microphones (lapel or roving), background music, Wi-Fi, and AV team support on arrival and on call. Optional extras include external AV fee (£500+VAT), additional microphones (£45+VAT each), lectern with microphone (£100+VAT), repetiteur plasma screens (£160+VAT each), and dedicated AV technician (£400+VAT for 4 hours, £80+VAT per additional hour).

External catering is not permitted - all catering must be supplied by the in-house caterer Vacherin. Options include tea/coffee breaks (£4.45-£9.00+VAT per person), sandwich working lunch (£19.50+VAT), hot fork lunch options, and various drinks packages with canapes, bowls, or BBQ food.

The Terrace Room includes access to outdoor terraces with stunning views of the London skyline, terrace furniture, and outdoor plants and seating. The space offers seamless indoor-outdoor experience with floor-to-ceiling windows and direct terrace access, making it ideal for summer receptions and al fresco dining.

The venue operates on a first-come, first-served basis with high demand for popular dates. Spaces can be held on option for 5 working days for site visits and decision-making. The venue regularly follows up on provisional bookings and will release spaces if no response is received within their specified timeframes.

Weekend room hire rates are significantly higher than weekdays. Weekend hire is £3,500+VAT per day, while weekday rates vary by room and duration but are substantially lower. Friday rates may offer some savings compared to Saturday pricing.

The venue includes in-house decorations and allows colour-led uplighters (£35+VAT each or £250+VAT for set of ten). Entertainment options include DJ services (£650+VAT) and the space supports background music and microphone capabilities for speeches and presentations.
