When is the venue unavailable due to Hall Lunches and existing events?

The venue is unavailable Tuesday-Friday due to Hall Lunches taking place. Large events occasionally require all rooms, making the venue completely unavailable on certain dates. Wedding bookings are only available on Saturday or Sunday.

What additional mandatory costs should I budget for?

Staff taxi fees of £250-£300 + VAT apply for events ending after 22:30. Event security costs £42 + VAT per staff member per hour (one per 100 guests). Cloakroom staff cost £25 + VAT per staff member per hour with a 4-hour minimum if manned service is required.

Can I use external caterers, and what are the associated costs?

External caterers are generally not permitted. However, for weddings requiring Asian caterers, specific approved Asian caterers may be used with a kitchen buy-out fee of £5,000 + VAT (£6,000 including VAT) in addition to the venue hire fee.

What AV equipment is available and what needs to be hired externally?
