Minimum spends vary significantly by day and time: Saturday evenings require £30k (excluding VAT and service), Sunday evenings £25k, weekday evenings £26k, and July evenings start at £20k minimum. All minimums exclude VAT and 18% service charge (15% service charge plus 3% event management fee). Bar bookings for up to 40 guests require £4k including VAT with 14% service charge.

Duck & Waffle exclusive hire accommodates 250 guests standing or 120 seated maximum. Bar bookings handle up to 40 people in a seated and standing mixture with a roped-off semi-private area. The private dining room seats up to 20 guests with a £500 minimum spend for breakfast events (including VAT, excluding 14% service charge).

Evening events typically run 18:30 to midnight with setup access from 16:30. Bar bookings are available for up to 3 hours from booking time with option to extend. Breakfast events run 8:00-11:00am, and the venue operates 24/7 to accommodate various timing needs.

All events incur 18% service charges (15% service charge plus 3% event management fee) on exclusive hire bookings, or 14-15% service charge on smaller bookings. Security and furniture removal charges apply for exclusive hire events but specific amounts aren't detailed. No hire fees are charged for the venue space itself.

Full minimum spend must be pre-paid as a deposit within 24 hours of booking confirmation. The venue operates a 7-day cancellation policy for group bookings and 14-day cancellation policy for private dining. All group bookings require pre-ordering of arrival drinks and canapés to ensure prompt service.

Duck & Waffle does not supply Halal meat but can provide vegetarian alternatives. The venue offers seated menus, canapé menus, and beverage packages. For group bookings, pre-ordering of food and drinks is mandatory to ensure efficient service on the event day.

Duck & Waffle cannot host externally promoted ticketed events due to licensing restrictions. Any ticketed events must be organised directly by the venue and comply with their specific requirements. The venue licence prohibits certain types of external promotional activities.

Regular bookings can be made online up to 2 months in advance. For private events and exclusive hire, dates are only held upon specific request and availability must be checked directly with the events team. Site visits can be arranged, and virtual tours are available for viewing the space beforehand.

Exclusive hire provides the entire 40th floor restaurant for 120-250 guests with £25k-£30k minimums, while bar bookings offer a roped-off semi-private area for up to 40 guests with £4k minimum. Bar bookings share lift entry and facilities, whereas exclusive hire provides complete venue control and privacy.

Saturday events command the highest minimum spends (£30k), while Sunday events offer reduced rates (£25k for the same space). July evenings require minimum £20k spend. The venue notes that Saturday is high-demand due to regular restaurant operations, significantly impacting minimum spend requirements compared to other days.
