Frequently asked questions

The Egyptian Room accommodates up to 150 guests for a ceremony setup. This hidden gem is only available on selected dates throughout the year due to its exclusive nature. Specific pricing and availability must be confirmed directly as this space has limited booking windows.

Standard venue access is from 07:00 to 23:00. A late license extending until 2:00 AM is available for an additional £750 per hour, though this is not included in the base venue hire cost.

60 Great Queen Street works exclusively with Moving Venue, London's leading heritage venue caterer. All catering must be provided through this partnership - external caterers are not permitted. Moving Venue can create tailored menus ranging from elegant drinks receptions to full three-course dinners.

The Egyptian Room includes basic audio-visual equipment as listed in the venue features. However, for more complex AV requirements, you'll need to work with the venue's recommended suppliers who are familiar with the space's technical capabilities and heritage restrictions.

Security and cleaning for the live event are included in the venue hire cost. These services are mandatory and cannot be waived or substituted with external providers.

Due to venue licensing terms, concerts are not permitted at 60 Great Queen Street. The Egyptian Room is suitable for private dinners, receptions, intimate ceremonies, and corporate dining events, but live music performances with concert-style setups are prohibited.

Guests enter through the iconic Bronze Tower Doors into the Grade II listed cloakroom, then ascend the marble staircase. The Egyptian Room's opulent setting works perfectly for intimate dining experiences with flexible layout options to accommodate different dining styles and group sizes.

The Egyptian Room has very limited availability as it's only offered on selected dates throughout the year. Early booking is essential due to this exclusivity. The venue recommends arranging a site visit to experience the space's scale, beauty, and atmosphere in person before finalizing your booking.
