Frequently asked questions

The Grand Temple costs £20,000 + VAT per day with access from 7:00am-11:00pm, and includes security and cleaning for the live event. The Gallery Suite and Ante Room costs £5,000 + VAT with the same access times and inclusions. The Vestibules can be hired as part of adjoining rooms from £10,500 + VAT.

The Grand Temple accommodates 900 theatre-style with catering, 280 cabaret, 600 reception, or 450 seated. The Gallery can hold 180 ceremony, 300 reception, or 180 seated. The venue's maximum overall capacity is 1,300 guests for standing events across multiple rooms.

Standard venue access is 7:00am to 11:00pm, with the venue licensed until 2:00am. Late licensing beyond 11:00pm costs £750 per hour and is not included in the base venue hire fee.

Rig and de-rig days are available at 50% discount on the standard venue hire rate. This means setup/breakdown days for The Grand Temple would cost £10,000 + VAT per day.

The venue works exclusively with Moving Venue as their catering partner for all food and beverage requirements. All catering must be arranged through Moving Venue - external catering is not permitted.

The Grand Temple has no built-in AV equipment, so all audio-visual requirements including screens, sound systems, lighting, and staging must be brought in by external suppliers. The venue provides a list of recommended AV suppliers who are familiar with the space.

The venue does not allow concerts to take place due to licensing terms. Musical theatre productions and other performance events may be considered, but live music concerts are specifically prohibited.

Yes, in The Grand Temple you can install a temporary floor over the ornate fixed seating to significantly increase both seated and standing capacities. This staging option provides additional flexibility for larger events beyond the standard 1,350 fixed seats.

Guests enter through the iconic Bronze Tower Doors into the Grade II listed cloakroom, then ascend the marble staircase to The Vestibules for drinks reception, before proceeding into The Grand Temple for the main event. This creates a dramatic sense of arrival and occasion.

December availability is limited due to the Christmas run when a Christmas installation is in place. Weekend availability in September-November includes specific dates, but December weekends are generally unavailable due to seasonal programming.
