What is the dry hire cost for weddings and what does it include?

Dry hire for weddings costs £15,000 ex VAT and includes use of all internal event spaces with your own caterers. This allows complete flexibility to bring in your preferred catering team and customize the wedding to your exact specifications.

What is the maximum dining capacity for wedding receptions in The Hall?

The Hall can accommodate up to 276 guests for dining, having recently increased from 240. This Georgian-style space features soaring ceilings, sparkling chandeliers, and oak-panelled walls, making it ideal for wedding receptions and gala dinners.

When is The Hall available for wedding bookings?

The Hall is available for hire Monday to Friday from 6:00 pm onwards, and on weekends during both day and evening. Along with the rest of the first floor, it provides perfect flexibility for wedding ceremonies and receptions that require additional space.

Are there any seasonal closures that could affect wedding bookings?

The venue is closed during August summer holidays and reopens from September 8th for events. If planning a September wedding, ensure your date is after September 8th when the venue resumes operations.

What catering packages are available for wedding dinners?

Wedding dinner packages start from £142 ex VAT per person and include venue hire with 10% discount, welcome prosecco, half bottle of house wine per person, half bottle of water per person, 3-course menu with coffee and chocolates, and PA system with microphone. Custom packages can be arranged through their catering team.

Is there a special pricing offer for 2026 weddings?

Yes, there is a room hire price freeze for 2026 events, allowing you to book at current 2025 rates. This offer ends August 31, 2025, and terms and conditions apply, so early booking is recommended to secure these rates.

What outdoor space is available for summer weddings?

The venue offers a stunning Marquee available mid-June to mid-July with capacity for up to 600 guests, set within three acres of beautifully maintained grounds. The 2026 Marquee Season runs from June 16 - July 9, 2026, and popular dates book quickly.

How far in advance should wedding bookings be made?

Wedding bookings should be made as early as possible, especially for popular dates and the limited Marquee season. The venue mentions that key dates are already being snapped up for 2026, and they recommend starting conversations early to secure preferred dates.

What AV equipment is included for wedding ceremonies and receptions?

Standard AV includes PA system with microphone for speeches and announcements. The venue has built-in AV capabilities in various spaces, and additional equipment can be arranged based on specific wedding requirements.
