Frequently asked questions

The Large Pension Room costs £1,450+VAT for a full day (08:00-17:00) on weekdays, with charity discounts available (10% applied in some cases). Sunday hire is £1,595+VAT per day, with special rates available for multiple Sunday bookings. The Bingham Room costs £1,350+VAT for a full day, or £675+VAT for half-day hire (4 hours). Evening use after 5pm typically incurs additional charges.

The Large Pension Room accommodates up to 110 people in theatre style, 60 in banqueting round tables, or 50 in banqueting long table format. The Bingham Room holds up to 60 people in theatre style or 30 in boardroom layout. All rooms include integrated AV equipment as standard.

The Large Pension Room includes a screen, lectern, and 3 microphones as standard. The Bingham Room is equipped with a projector and screen with integrated ceiling speakers, a 75-inch CleverTouch TV, and 2 handheld microphones. All business spaces have integrated AV systems included in the hire cost.

Package 1 costs £55+VAT per person and includes tea/coffee/pastries on arrival, mid-morning refreshments, gourmet sandwich lunch with crisps and fruit, and afternoon tea/coffee/cake. Package 2 costs £75+VAT per person with breakfast baps on arrival, mid-morning refreshments, a fork buffet with 3 main courses/1 salad/1 dessert, and afternoon tea/cake. Both include still/sparkling water throughout.

100% payment is required six weeks before the event date. Quotes are valid for 30 days from receipt and may be subject to change after this period. Bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, and provisional holds may be released if confirmation is not received by specified deadlines.

Venue viewings are available Monday to Friday between 09:00-11:00 and 15:00-17:30. You can arrange a viewing by contacting the sales team directly at 020 7458 7960 or via email to discuss your event requirements and check availability for your preferred viewing time.

Venue hire does not include decorations, so you can bring your own decorative items. You can bring your own cake but will need to sign a disclaimer on arrival. The venue appears to have restrictions on external catering based on their in-house catering packages, so this should be discussed directly with the sales team.

All business room hires include basic staffing, security, and unmanned cloakroom facilities. Additional services like DJ hire cost £850+VAT, and lighting packages are available upon request with quotes from suppliers. Tea/coffee/pastries can be added separately for £8.50+VAT per person if not included in a full catering package.

Some rooms offer minimum spend options as an alternative to fixed hire rates. For example, the Large Pension Room can be hired at £1,450+VAT with a minimum spend of £40+VAT per person on food and beverage. This structure may be more cost-effective for events with substantial catering requirements.

Standard business events typically run from 08:00-17:00, though extended hours are available. Evening use after 5pm usually incurs additional charges, though these may be waived on occasion. The venue offers flexibility on timing, and you should discuss specific requirements with the sales team to confirm availability and any additional costs.
