What are the minimum spend requirements for private room bookings?
Private room minimum spends vary by day: Tuesday £2,500 + VAT + 12.5% service charge, Wednesday £3,200 + VAT + 12.5% service charge, Thursday £4,200 + VAT + 12.5% service charge. The minimum spend goes towards food, drinks and activity costs, with any shortfall deducted from your deposit.
What are the capacity limits for different room configurations?
The private room accommodates up to 70 delegates in theatre style, 36 delegates in cabaret style, or 28 in boardroom setup. For standing events, the private room can hold up to 100 people. The mainspace meeting area can accommodate up to 200 delegates theatre style or 60 delegates cabaret style.
What are the Day Delegate package prices and what's included?
Half day packages cost £46 per person (ex VAT) including either arrival breakfast or grazing lunch, 1 snack break, unlimited teas/coffees/juices/water, room hire and AV equipment. Full day packages cost £59 per person (ex VAT) including arrival breakfast, grazing lunch, 2 snack breaks, unlimited beverages, room hire and AV equipment.
What are the minimum delegate requirements for conference bookings?
For mainspace conferences, minimum 120 delegates with maximum 200. For private room conferences, minimum 30 delegates with maximum 70 theatre style or 36 cabaret style. Furniture hire costs around £800 + VAT for mainspace bookings.
What are the operating hours and any day-specific restrictions?
The venue opens to the public at 2:00 PM on Thursdays, so conferences must end by 1:00 PM latest unless you pay additional fees to extend opening hours. Events before 8am are not possible as this is before operational hours. Late events may be possible until 2am but not until 5am.
What AV equipment is included with room hire?
All spaces include projector screen, 2 handheld microphones, lectern, furniture (chairs), and complimentary wi-fi. The private room also has karaoke facilities and UV lighting. Additional equipment like DJ services start from £250 depending on date.
What are the payment terms and deposit requirements?
A 25% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to confirm bookings. Final balance is due 14 days prior to the event date and becomes non-refundable at that point. For bookings made within 14 days, full payment is required immediately.
What social packages are available for team activities?
The Shore and Ditch area (capacity 90) has minimum spend £1,500 + VAT + 12.5% service charge, includes 2 ping pong tables and 2 high-tech ping pong tables. Groups can book 3 tables for 1 hour 55 minutes. Games Gurus entertainment experts are available for £5 per person.
What are the full venue hire costs for large events?
Full venue hire minimum spends vary by day: Monday £6,000 + VAT + 12.5% service charge, Tuesday £9,000, Wednesday £14,000, Thursday £24,000. Maximum 32 teams of 7 guests each (224 total). Chair hire fees may apply due to limited seating.
Is the venue suitable for ticketed events and what are the age restrictions?
The venue has hosted ticketed events previously and is strictly over 18s only. Late events can run until 2am but not until 5am. Budget discussions are required for ticketed events as pricing varies significantly based on requirements.
