The Royal Box is an exclusive space and the very room in which HRH Elizabeth II watched The Gold Cup at Sandown Park each year.

What are the individual room hire rates for different spaces?
Surrey Hall (2,740 sqm, up to 800 guests) costs £5,000 + VAT per live day and £3,500 + VAT for setup. Solario Suite (up to 200 guests) costs £1,650 + VAT per live day and £950 + VAT for setup. The Gallery (up to 60 guests) costs £1,400 + VAT per live day and £750 + VAT for setup.
What is the minimum catering spend requirement?
There is a minimum catering spend of £8,000, and you must cater for a minimum of 75% of your guests. This policy applies across all events regardless of the number of attendees.
What are the evening event packages and pricing?
Evening packages include space hire at £1,500 + VAT, 3-course meals from £37.50 + VAT per person, and arrival drinks at £8.33 + VAT per person. Drinks packages are available for 3 hours at £38.75 + VAT per person or 5 hours at £63.00 + VAT per person, with a minimum of 50 people required.
What catering options are available and at what cost?
Individual catering items include tea and coffee at £3.45 + VAT per person per serving (or £15.98 + VAT per person per day for unlimited), finger buffet at £35.78 + VAT per person, hot or cold buffet at £40.02 + VAT per person, and grab & go lunch bags at £12.33 + VAT per person. Premium canapes cost £21.75 + VAT per person.
What are the capacity limits for different room layouts?
Surrey Hall accommodates up to 800 guests and can handle large exhibitions with 60+ stalls. Solario Suite holds maximum 144 in cabaret style or 200 for other layouts. The Gallery has a fixed capacity of 60 guests with furniture that cannot be moved.
Are there any restrictions on dates or availability?
The venue may have limited availability during racing season and major events like Tom Jones concerts. Some dates may be completely unavailable, and alternative dates are typically offered when requested dates are not possible.
What setup and breakdown arrangements are available?
Setup day hire is available the day before events at reduced rates (Surrey Hall setup costs £3,500 + VAT vs £5,000 + VAT for live days). Access times can be arranged from early morning, with some events requiring 6:00 AM access for setup.
What AV equipment and technical services are included?
Basic AV including projector, screen, microphones, and PA system are included in DDR packages. The venue can accommodate client's own AV suppliers, and additional technical services like sound, lighting, and presentation management can be arranged at extra cost.
What parking and transport options are available?
Complimentary on-site parking is included with most packages. The venue is located 15 miles from Central London, 25 minutes by train from London Waterloo to Esher station, and easily accessible from the M25 and A3 motorways.
