The Lecture Hall can accommodate up to 120 guests in theatre layout or up to 80 in cabaret style. The Council Chamber accommodates up to 80 guests in theatre layout or up to 32 cabaret-style. Room 1847 in the restaurant can seat up to 60 guests for dining events.

The Day Delegate Rate is £89.00 plus VAT per person with a minimum of 80 guests for the Lecture Hall and Council Chamber. This includes room hire from 08:00-17:00, AV equipment (built-in screen, projector, speakers), manned cloakroom, arrival refreshments (JING tea, Searcys coffee, pastries), morning refreshments, finger food buffet lunch, and afternoon refreshments.

Room 1847 has a room hire fee of £750.00 plus VAT combined with a minimum food and beverage spend of £2,500 plus VAT and 12.5% service charge. The Council Chamber has a room hire of £1,000 plus VAT with a Day Delegate Rate of £49 plus VAT per person (minimum 20 guests).

Surveyors House is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Events typically run during weekday hours, with evening events available until 23:00 on weekdays.

Booking options are typically held for specific periods - examples include holds until 17 February 2025 for an October event, or 28 May 2025 for a July event. The venue requires a contract and deposit invoice to secure confirmed bookings.

Hot fork buffet lunch upgrades are available at a supplement of £10-£20 plus VAT per person depending on the package. The minimum menu price for private dining starts from £45 plus VAT per person, with preorders required.

Built-in screen, projector, and speakers are included in most packages. The Lecture Hall features an in-built stage with lectern and lectern microphone, plus 2 hand-held or lapel microphones. AV assistance is provided upon arrival and on calls.

The Festive Dining Package is £144.00 plus VAT per person (minimum 75 guests) including glass of Prosecco on arrival, three-course festive dinner, half bottle of house wine per person, Christmas decorations, and venue hire from 18:00-23:00. Reception packages start at £115.00 plus VAT per person.

A 12.5% service charge applies to food and beverage spend. All prices quoted are plus VAT. Some packages include mandatory staffing and security costs within the quoted price.

When booking the Lecture Hall, guests also have access to the adjoining Council Chamber for lunch and refreshments. This provides separate spaces for presentations and dining/networking.
