After a 2 min walk from King's Cross station, your Networking guests are welcomed into a light, modern and stylish Cafe before heading up to the spacious, versatile Upper Room. All fully accessible.

The AV team are ready for speeches, presentations, panel discussions, live streaming and live music. Just let us know the layout you'd like, whether it's cabaret, dining or theatre.

We're dry-hire, so bring the catering and decorations that will make the difference you desire.

Frequently asked questions

The Conference & Events package costs £445 per hour, which includes the Upper Room (200 theatre capacity), standard AV equipment with 1 technician, and 2 staff members to facilitate your event. All bookings must include setup and pack down time - minimum 30 minutes setup and 15-30 minutes pack down, with standard being 60 minutes setup and 30 minutes pack down.

King's House is only available for hire Thursday through Saturday. The venue is not available for bookings on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.

You must budget for a £150 post-event cleaning charge and a refundable security surcharge (amount not specified in communications). Unlimited tea and coffee service is available for £2 per person if required.

The Upper Room has a maximum capacity of 200 people in theatre style seating. The space is flexible and can accommodate cabaret, dining, or theatre layouts with chairs and tables provided free of charge.

Standard AV includes a projector screen, 2 wall-mounted 65" TVs, full PA system, bespoke lighting, and equipment for HD live streaming and hybrid events. One dedicated technician is included in the hourly rate to operate all equipment throughout your event.

Yes, King's House is dry hire, meaning you must arrange your own catering and can bring external caterers. The venue is completely NUT-FREE, so all food and catering must comply with this restriction. Kitchen access is available for caterers.

Full payment is typically due by a standard deadline, but payment plans can be arranged with extra time (e.g., partial payment initially, then remainder plus security surcharge by a later date). Invoices can be split into deposit and final payment if needed.

Event materials including slides, logos, and AV files must be provided by midday the day before your event. Files should be sent via WeTransfer to kings.house.b3hv7r.c.e@reply.hirespace.com, and a detailed event schedule must be completed in advance for the technical team.

King's House is a fully accessible building located just a 2-minute walk from King's Cross station. The venue features a ground floor cafe space where guests are welcomed before heading to the first-floor Upper Room via accessible routes.

Yes, deliveries can be arranged to arrive at King's House in advance of your event (e.g., items delivered the day before). The venue staff will coordinate with you on delivery timing and storage arrangements.

King's House is a beautiful former billiard hall in the heart of King's Cross. Our newly-refurbished first-floor events space contains a 200-seat flexible auditorium, with kitchen, full PA/AV, and is fully equipped for HD live streaming and hybrid events.

The ground floor of the building provides a cafe space and a home for community activities and charities aid people in the local area. Each booking made with King's House directly supports these organisations.
