We offer a fantastic range of spaces that can accommodate from small private dinners for 12 to receptions for up to 200 guests. Nestled in the heart of Westminster, Surveyors House boasts stunning views of iconic landmarks such as Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster. This magnificent Victorian venue is ideal for a variety of events, including conferences, meetings, weddings, and festive celebrations. The Lecture Hall accommodates up to 120 guests in theatre layout or up to 80 in cabaret style (conflicting information shows 100 cabaret in one message). The Council Chamber holds up to 80 guests in theatre layout or up to 32 cabaret-style. For private dining, Room 1847 can seat up to 60 guests with a private bar.

The Day Delegate Rate is £89 plus VAT per person with a minimum of 80 guests for the Lecture Hall package, or £49 plus VAT per person with a minimum of 20 guests for the Council Chamber package. Both include room hire, arrival refreshments (JING tea, Searcys coffee, pastries), morning and afternoon breaks, finger food buffet lunch, AV equipment (screen and projector), cloakroom service, and flavoured water station.

The Council Chamber has a room hire fee of £1,000 plus VAT for a full day (09:00-17:00). Room 1847 charges £750 plus VAT room hire with a minimum food and beverage spend of £2,500 plus VAT and 12.5% service charge. The Dubai Meeting Room costs £667 plus VAT per day for Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.

All spaces include in-built screens and projectors with speakers. The Lecture Hall features an in-built stage with lectern and microphone options (2 hand-held or lapel microphones). AV assistance is provided upon arrival and on calls. The venue has video-conference facilities and LCD screens available.

Events typically run from 08:00-17:00 for day events or 18:00-23:00 for evening events. The venue is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Booking options are typically held for specific periods - examples show holds until dates like 17 February 2025 or 28 May 2025, suggesting several weeks to months depending on the event date.

Hot fork buffet lunch upgrades are available at £10-20 plus VAT per person (pricing varies by package). Reception packages start at £115 plus VAT per person including arrival drink, canapés, and 3-hour unlimited drinks. Minimum menu prices for private dining start from £45 plus VAT per person with pre-orders required.

A discretionary service charge of 12.5% applies to food and beverage. All prices are quoted plus VAT at 20%. Contracts and deposit invoices are sent to secure events. Security and staffing are included in most packages, with dedicated catering teams provided for private events.

The Lecture Hall booking includes the adjoining Council Chamber for refreshments and networking. Both spaces are on the first floor and work together as a combined event space. Room 1847 includes a private bar within the space. The Dubai Meeting Room accommodates up to 14 boardroom style with additional standing space.

The venue provides dedicated setup time and access arrangements. There is a side door from Little Sanctuary (Great George Street) that provides direct access to meeting rooms for equipment loading. No on-site parking is available, but nearby parking options include ParkBee locations on Abbey Orchard Street and Victoria.

The venue releases spaces if no response is received within the hold period. Events are not held without confirmation, and enquiries are closed if clients don't respond to follow-up communications. Site visits can be arranged to view spaces before confirming bookings.
